Great book for every nursing student
2 volume set is lighter to carry, so definitely opt for this one. There are many high quality pictures illustrating various diseases that aid learning the material. Some of the pictures are scary though. The book contains lots of medical terminology that, at times, hard to understand if the concept was not known previously.

Just a few things missing
It has most of the items that the book does. However, it is not licensed to deliver the nursing outcomes. You get most of what is in the book. How important the parts that are missing is up to you. There may be other things missing I just saw that one right up front.

cliff's notes for the textbook
Excellent for when you need the information and don't want to read an entire chapter to find it out. I call it the Cliff's note's version of the textbook. All major diagnosises are included, their etiologies, assessments, diagnostics, and treatments. Useful in clinical.

I have often been frustrated by "study guides," left with the feeling that I didn't really get value for my money . . . the same can not be said for this study guide. Answers are given at the back, but more important the answers come with rationals that help to truly "OWN" the concept. Buy it or wish you had later.

Very helpful if you are interested in dynamical aspects
This is the only good source where you can find a decent exposure to the dynamical modelling of the power systems, the details given in the book were very helpful to conduct my research. There are other books around but they are either incomplete or too detailed or a major pain.

Your instructor can download the sheets online and post them for you. The part that totally sucks is the fact that there is no online resource for it.
