Finding Laura Buggs8 reviews
Stanley Gordon West

Lexington-Marshall Publishing, 1999

Splendid Writer!
Wow! Stanley Gordon West is an amazing writer, who really knows how to capture an era; and with it, he introduces us to a character who is funny, smart, and really not so different at heart from many young girls today. The book was suspenseful, yet touching. It is truly a novel about searching for oneself, and finding what's important in life. While Laura's family isn't "normal," she manages to ...

Sweet Shattered Dreams4 reviews
Stanley Gordon West

Lexington-Marshall Publishing, 2005

Another great one!
This is the latest book from Stanley Gordon West, once again it's a "can't put down" book. Mr. West has a style of writing that immediately pulls you into the book. As the novel progresses there are more twists and turns than you ever expect and that keep you hooked until the very end. I can hardly wait for him to write another book - keep the midnight fires burning Stanley!

Cal is a hero in the same vein as Atticus Finch, someone who sticks up for rights of the unpopular and different. ...

Growing an Inch (Fiction)16 reviews
Stanley Gordon West

Lexington-Marshall Publishing, 2003

The Class of 1950
Growing an Inch is the third story about the St. Paul Central Class of 1950, and I feel like I'm a classmate. I like how the three stories overlap, giving a detailed account of one classmate's life while touching upon others' stories as well. I hope he (Stanley Gordon West) has another classmate in mind to write about. He's become one of my favorite writers.
