Sassy and Entertaining Trio
Three narratives of star-crossed heroines and their unwanted heroes entangled in life's dilemmas. Jayne Anne Krentz and Heather Graham Pozzessere deliver award-winning tales that keep me returning for their new books and turning the pages in this one. To my delight, Stella Cameron is a new find and her artful plot development just as fun to read as my other favorites. Get ready to be charmed ...

Janice Kay Johnson's Novel is Emotional and Engaging
The first novel in this volume is an early Stella Cameron, and it reads like one. The story is enjoyable, but it is a bit of a mish mash of motivations, plots, characters, etc. One can tell just by reading that Cameron was still figuring out her style while writing. But the second novel by Janice Kay Johnson makes this collection a must-read/must-buy! This is a brand-new story by this ...

Susepenseful romance with New Orleans backdrop
This is the first Stella Cameron book I have read. I was very impressed. I loved the hero, Jack, and he definitely had the sensualness of a southern Cajun man. The suspense was sustained throughout the book and I literally did nothing for a whole day until I finished reading it. And it is truly a nail biter! Marie from Ohio

A great love story
I have read a few of Stella Cameron's books, True Bliss, Guilty Pleasures, Sheer Pleasures & The Best Revenge. While all these books were entertaining, they were a little sleazy and unrealistic. This story, however is a truly romantic story about a woman who has suffered a terrible loss and who finds love and total acceptance in a man who is so incredibly patient and understanding. He ...

Great book
I thought the book was great. Even though Edward married Lindsay out of revenge it later turns to love and passion. Lindsay has a stepbrother who kills her brother, yet she doesn't display any emotions of hate towards him, she just tries to distance herself from him. She is an innocent woman through and through, and that is what draws Edward to loving her. The book defitely has a twist in the ...

Very good.....but
I bought this book hoping for a Linda Howard story I hadn't read, only to find the one in here is An Independent Wife. Good story, if you haven't read it yet, though. And if you like Stella Cameron, her contribution was worthwhile, as well.

A book that will touch your heart!
RISKS ... Jennie Andrews is a woman who's determined to make it on her own. She's coping with the struggles of being a widow, with teen sons and with a relatively new business. Peter Kynaston, her and her husband's best friend, is back in her life. This is an amazing story of risks . . . can a person risk his or her heart when there is a very deep connection, that of being best friends? Can they ...

Choices
Evan is in the first book in the trilogy, Faces of a Clown, so are Mark and Laura and Bruce. I like it when characters really do play parts in following books rather than just running across a page somewhere. Choices is a grown up book about balancing responsibilities with love and sex. The love is powerful, the sex is hot and the rest of the story is tense enough to keep you turning the pages. ...

Excellent Book
I personally read books to get away from my real life and live in a "fantasy" world even if just for a few days... I couldn't stop reading this book from the moment I picked it up. I fell in love with Byron, Jade and Ian. It's heartwarming, funny, sad and sexy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

What a Writer!
Stella shoots straight from the hip and tells it like it is! If you want a mushy plot and unrealistic, flowery speech, then this is not the book for you. However, if you enjoy a story that has some grit and edge, along with characters that have depth, you'll enjoy this novel. Stella certainly has a gift for creating interesting characters and realistic dialogue.

Good Book At Times
This novel was a good read, very interesting with some of the twists. Having just taken a Writing the Romance class, the language may be a little bit old, but it still makes many good points. A minor note: Harlequin has just reprinted the novel under the name Stella Cameron, who with Virginia Myers was one of the two authors who collaborated under the pseudonym Jane Worth Abbott.

Another Mayfair Square classic
This book is another in the series of Mayfair Square books. In this one Adam and Desiree FINALLY have their romance. It is not a book that will make you think but their love is true and I loved hearing their story after so much previous build-up in the previous Mayfair Square books. It was a sweet book with a lot of sub-plot. I definitely recommend it- but you might want to start with the ...

What a wonderful story!
... Saber, Earl of Avenall, was severely wounded, inside and out, during the war in India. Today, we would call it Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He has nightmares, he feels terrible amounts of guilt, etc. But he thinks he's going insane. Ella, his beloved, needs him. She loves him and he pushes her away, not willing to tie her to a madman. But someone threatens to expose Ella's past and hurt ...

Finally Dori's Story ( Jensen)
Having enjoyed the Mckeon Brothers stories so much, I was excited to find this anthology of sorts. Finally we get to find out if Sal and Dori ever make it happen. But the story has a few interseting twists and some angst. that at times seemed to be a bit over done. Dori finds she must come to terms with who and what she is to make a new start. Part of the plan includes divorcing her husband who ...
