This is a good quality bible for the price. We bought these to give to all of our children in grades 1-4. All of them love their bible and the nirv is an excellent translation for children. Some of the parents have asked me if they could have one of these bibles. They also like how readalbe it is. We will be buying more in the future as we need them. Rev. Terry D. Baker

Excellent gift for a teen
Our granddaughter was pleased with 'her own special Bible' She commented on all the explanatory sections putting the old language into language she could relate to. Also has appreciated the many special topics that affect teens in relationship to Bible teachings.

Update
Purchased several copies of this to present to 1st graders at church. It seems to be an update of the version we've used the past few years, but all that has really changed is the cover. The children we've given them to the last few years seem to appreciate them; they bring them to church and use them in Sunday School.
