Non stop thriller
I got Prior Bad Acts as soon as I finished Dust To Dust, having had fallen in love with the characters, Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska. If you're a fan of Kovac/Liska from prior books Ashes to Ashes and Dust to dust, then this is a must read. I thought this one was the best though.

Staci Snell is perfect
I have listened to several audio books narrated by Staci Snell. I have to say she is the only narrator I have heard in some time that makes her characters absolutely believeable. Some narrators make their female characters too breathy or too pitchy or too dramatic. Even the male character Snell attempts seem real.

I found the book riveting. A gripping page-turner.

Dual Reprints Helpful
I was glad to see these two books come out in a dual reprint. These were among the first Tami Hoag books I read and enjoyed thoroughly. Loved the way she continued the storyline into the second book with the prosecuting attorney. No one does dark mystery better than Hoag.

Great Book
This is the first book that I've read by Tami Hoag, and it certainly will not be my last. The main character was feisty and likable, and she social commentary well with some suburbia dysfunction, romance, deceit, jealousy, tragedy, corruption, murder, and more! I can't even list all the elements she blended to create a wonderful suspense story. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Very compelling story
I've come across this book after watching the movie based on it. The movie was really good and I wanted to check the book out. I wasn't disappointed: lots of suspense; very entertaining. It's been a few years since I read it, so I apologize if I can't give more details. The story was good enough that made me buy 4 other Hoag's books. Night Sins is probably one of her best.
