Strangers In Paradise Pocket Book 1 (Strangers in Paradise (Graphic Novels))6 reviews
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 2004

The start of something great
If you try to read this series in the individual comic issues, you won't get nearly half of what you get in these pocket book series. With individual issues, you have to look for the correct volume as well as issue numbers. Here, the story is perfectly laid out. We get a long look at the characters of Francine, Katchoo, and David and their development over a period of time. This is lost when ...

Excellent novel
This novel does an excellent job finishing up the story. It gives all of the finishing details needed to find out how it all ends.

The Collected Strangers in Paradise20 reviews
Terry Moore, 2008

The way it should be
I have to say that I have tried to read the individual comics that comprise this book. I just couldn't really get into the characters and had no desire to read the series. These pocket books are the way these characters need to be represented. With this format, the reader has a greater chance of seeing the depth and all the turns in the lifes of Francine, Katchoo and David. We see how minor ...

The Complete Strangers in Paradise Volume One (Strangers in Paradise)11 reviews
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 1998

I'm male, I like superheroes, and I love Strangers...
For those who aren't afraid to try something different, this is it. Funny, well drawn, and interestingly written. Just about the best non-superhero series outside of "Bone".

Strangers In Paradise Book 14: David's Story (Strangers in Paradise (Graphic Novels))1 review
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 2004

You know, just when you think you have SIP figured out...
This is probably one of the best graphic comic series ever. Yes, its about the friendship (and more) between two girls and a guy. But it is remarkable. I don't give 5 stars lightly (or pretty much ever) but this series (and book) deserve it. The story is lovely, the characterizations are amazing and the stores intrigue. Don't pick it up expecting a book for girls. Its is much more than that.

The beauty and the billionaire1 review
Terry Moore

Pocket Books, 1984

Howard's and Terry's story is very touching and poignant.
I have always been facinated with Howard Hughes the entrepeneur, the visionaire, the inventor. After reading this book, I am more impressed with his charitable nature and his simple, uncomplicated caring for the rest of his fellow humans. What an incredible man!!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow & Tara2 reviews
Amber Benson, Christopher Golden, ...

Dark Horse, 2003

Wonderful collection
This collection contains three stories , "WannaBlessedBe", "Wilderness" and "Demonology Menagerie". The first one, "WannaBlessedBe" is five by five! This story is written by two of my favorite people, Chris Golden & Amber Benson. I loved the way they handled Willow & Tara's relationship, very subtle, very BtVS 4th/ fifth season.(This story takes place in the fifth season.) What I also loved about ...

Comic Artist's Photo Reference Women And Girls (Comic Artist's Photo Reference)3 reviews
Buddy Scalera

Impact, 2008

Good Buy
One of the best photo reference books I've come across. I have it all stickied with post-its already. The CD-Rom is also packed with some good refs. I would've liked to see some more "group" shots but I'm not disappointed in the least with this book. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to have a nice collection of female references handy on their shelf. I can't wait for the "Men and Boys" ...

Strangers In Paradise Book 19: Ever After (Strangers in Paradise (Graphic Novels))1 review
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 2007

A great powerful ending to a long series!
I will not say anything about the ending so I won't spoil it for you all. Just wanted to tell you that the ending is GREAT, emotional, & powerful! It left me feeling satisfied. The author has done a great job putting a closure on this series. It also makes me sad that this is it. I feel like I've gotten to know the characters so well and it's time to say goodbye... I hope he writes ...

Strangers In Paradise Book 18: Love & Lies (Strangers in Paradise (Graphic Novels))1 review
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 2006

Amazing
I've been reading this series periodically catching up with the collections here and there, but it didn't really hit me until this collection just how great this series is. The art work, pacing of the panels, the whole thing with David, his visions of his sister, those first two pencil drawings of Francine in the cherry pajamas and of course the humor ("I want to have a baby, your baby") all ...

Strangers In Paradise Book 17: Tattoo (Strangers in Paradise (Graphic Novels))1 review

Honest and quirky
I've followed this series from the beginning and it is probably the best book to come along in many years. Quite a saga!

Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, Inc., 2003

Amazing!!
This volume contains the following: - First, we get a "Previously in SiP", a short recap of what happened in previous issues. - # 50 "Backlash": The next morning... Strangers In Paradise: Immortal Enemies (Strangers in Paradise)6 reviews
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 1996

Goosebumps...
That's what this series gives me. The great thing about this series is how Terry Moore thinks nothing about changing the format a little & switching between prose, comics, and a one panel page. This volume has been very well described so far & to say anything more would give away too much. Needless to say, this is a pivotal point in the series & is definately a must-read of Terry Moore's! ...

Strangers In Paradise: It's A Good Life (Strangers in Paradise)3 reviews
Terry Moore

Abstract Studio, 1998

SIP : Excellent
I know I'm new to Strangers in Paradise, but of the few issues I've read, these have been the best. Buy if you're a fan. Buy if you're not a fan. You'll still like it.

Strangers in Paradise: I Dream of You10 reviews
Terry Moore, 2008

THIS is what I'm in comics for
The cover of this book says volume II but in reality storywise THIS is where it all starts. Where the 'real' volume I (named "The Collected") gives you a brief introduction to who the main players and Terry Moore (the creator, both artist and writer) are, here is where the story as we know it today really begins. So see this as volume I and see "The Collected" as a big intro-special because ...

The Watchers5 reviews
Terry Moore

AuthorHouse, 2007

"A Summer Pleasure"
Terry Moore's "The Watchers" delivers a wonderful story about kids, summer, the beach, parents, summer friends, mysterious sea creatures, corporate greed, ecology, and nature's delicate balance of all life on earth. Mr. Moore manages to touch all the bases succinctly in an totally enjoyable "quick read." The story centers on three children, (two girls, named Timi and Sataki, and their friend ...

X-Men: The Complete Age of Apocalypse Epic, Book 25 reviews
Fabian Nicieza, John Francis Moore, ...

Marvel Comics, 2005
