Life Support 65 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Pocket, 1998
Classic Gerritsen If you reach for a Tess Gerritsen novel, you know what you're going to get -- a psychological thriller cloaked in enough medical terminology to have you sounding like an ER doc, with some graphic blood-and-guts scenes thrown in for good measure. While Gerritsen's books are not for the faint of heart, they are well-plotted and well-written, with strong characters and plenty of action. Because ...

The Surgeon: A Novel 146 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2002
The surgeon makes the first deadly cut The Surgeon is the first of Gerritsen's Jane Rizzoli books, and it's quite the compelling read. As detailed and gory as CSI would be if it weren't on network television, it's also full of vivid characters and an intriguing serial killer that will test Rizzoli and her compatriots to the bitter end.
Gerritsen seems to be easing her readers into Jane Rizzoli's personality, because the book has ...

Body Double (Jane Rizzoli, Book 4) 86 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2005
Best of the Series So Far... The book starts with Dr. Maura Isles touring the Catacombs of Paris and contemplating her own mortality. That is just the beginning! She returns home to her house to find that her front yard is a crime scene, and the police and her coworkers are looking at her like she is a ghost. That is because they all thought the dead woman in the car in front of her house was Dr. Isles. The book is downright ...

The Sinner (Jane Rizzoli, Book 3) 93 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2004
Edge of seater! This series of books by Tess Gerritsen is absolutely a page-turner. I couldn't read fast enough. This series was purchased by my niece who is stationed with the Army in Afghanistan. She loves to read mysteries, and I know this series will keep what little spare time she has occupied.

The Bone Garden: A Novel 80 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2007
Wonderful Read This is a great read. The author excells at switching between two time periods. Though this is different from her usual story line, she proves she can change up her writing genre and keep it as interesting as ever. She makes Oliver Wendell Holmes character interesting and makes you want to research his life story. Does an excellent job writing a time period piece. I recommend highly.

The Keepsake: A Novel Tess Gerritsen

New York Times bestselling author Tess Gerritsen knows how to expertly dissect a brilliantly suspenseful story, all the while keeping fascinated readers riveted to her side. By turns darkly enthralling and relentlessly surprising, The Keepsake showcases an author at the peak of her storytelling powers. For untold years, the perfectly preserved mummy had lain forgotten in the dusty basement of Boston’s Crispin Museum. Now its sudden ...

Never Say Die & Whistleblower: Never Say Die\Whistleblower 5 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Mira, 2007
Tess takes you away! This is the first book I have read of Tess Gerritsen's and if these 2 books are an example of her writing and ability to take you to a place you've never been, I will be reading more of her works.
The first book, "Never Say Die", is set in Vietnam and I could just feel the humidity! The story and plot was well thought out and the characters were well developed. It was a very fast read and I ...

Vanish (Jane Rizzoli, Book 5) 96 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2006
The American Dream As always, Tess Gerritsen never fails to captivate me. The strength of her work is her ability to grab you from the very beginning. I was hooked as soon as I started Chapter 1 where Mila tells her journey. A rather disturbing detail about her experience (and I was glad I was reading fiction). Vanish is one of those story where coming to America is a dream come true. Unfortunately for some, ...

The Bone Garden, Large Print (Large Print Edition) 1 review Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2007
Historical Mystery and Romance... I didn't realize when I picked up this book that most of it was set in the 1830's. I knew one of the characters was Maura Isles from the Jane Rizzoli series, so I started reading. While Maura is a minor character, I was soon caught up in the story and couldn't put it down. The descriptions of medical practices in the 1830's were quite graphic and at times were almost too much to read. But, they ...

Double Impact 3 reviews Tess Gerritsen, Debra Webb
Harlequin, 2003
Suspense novels- two for one! Double impact is a collection of two short stories by best selling author Tess Gerritsen and Debra Webb. Though Tess Gerritsen is a more acclaimed writer, Debra Webb's story was the one that I loved- a suspenseful mystery romance that had two great characters and a fast moving plot with lots of twists! Tess Gerritsen's story (Never Say Die) is about Willy Maitland who goes to Vietnam to find the ...

This one hooked me!! I'm not sure why I picked up this book a few years ago, but Tess wrapped me around her little finger. I've been working my way through her books for a couple of years now and I can't wait to get a hold of The Bone Garden. These books are so on the edge of insanity and so full of twists right down to the last page it seems!!!! I adore Tess!!!!!!

The Mephisto Club (Jane Rizzoli, Book 6) 105 reviews Tess Gerritsen
Ballantine Books, 2007
Cheers to Tess Gerritsen This novel is one of the best yet with Maura and Jane. I really enjoyed the supernatural aspect of the book. I like the fact that her novels have some romance but it is not over powering. I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it. I highly recomend this book to people who enjoy mystery and learning about myths.

Harvest 88 reviews Tess Gerritsen

Medical Thriller "Transplants" the Reader In order to add excitement to my middle aged life, I depend on sexy crime dramas and and novels to raise my pulse. Tess Gerritsen manged to do just that as she took me through the pages of almost perfect crime in this medical thriller.
Coincidentally I worked for almost ten years as part of transplant teams in a major transplant center. I can honestly say that the author worked very hard not ...
