This is definitely one of the best atlases published. I have seen several and none compare. Also, there are not that many Spanish references available and this has to be by far the best. This book is outstanding in referencing the locations of the biblical cities to today's modern cities. I highly recommend this reference especially as a study tool.

This is such a cute book with such a powerful message for little ones. The pictures are adorable -- the lion looks soooo sad. Kids will learn about the power of prayer from this book.

A useful general tool
This is not a scholarly reference, packed with cross-references and footnotes, but neither is it one for the kiddies. I find this a useful quick reference.
The information is quite accessible--you don't have to be a rocket scientist (or theologian) to understand what is written or presented. I have used it both in local church and teaching at tertiary level.

This colorful book tells the story of the last week in the life of Jesus. The pictures are bright and hopeful--even the crucifixion segment is handled without being dark and graphic. I like the inclusion of children and women in the scenes. The only thing that could make it better would be more ethnic diversity in the pictures.

This was an educational and worthwhile project for our Bible history class!
The Temple model itself is fun to put together (be sure to use clips to hold the pieces in place as they dry). I'm especially grateful for the accompanying booklet which tells the history of Solomon's Temple and a clear description of each section of it, and gives brief histories of Zerubabel's and Herod's Temples.
I wish the authors would come out with a Herod's Temple model! I'd love to ...
