American Outrage 8 reviews Tim Green
Grand Central Publishing, 2007
A surprising effort! I read Green's first two books and though I found them intersting I didn't feel they showed me anything special and haven't gone back for more until "American outrage." Jake is a great series characters and the plot was fantastic. The whole experience has changed my opinion completely about this author's talent and I intend to back track and try more.
Good going. I highly recommend this one ...

Exact Revenge 35 reviews Tim Green
Thorndike Press, 2005
Nonstop Melodrama This reprise of The Count of Monte Cristo (in modern times) is very readable--a feast of nonstop melodrama. The characters are slightly over the top; the settings are slightly over the top; the actions are slightly over the top and the violence is perfect. Upstate New Yorkers will particularly enjoy it--with scenes in Syracuse, Auburn and the finger lakes. This is my first Tim Green novel, so ...

Ruffians 7 reviews Tim Green
Grand Central Publishing, 1999
Professional Sports Exposed Ruffians by Tim Green also exposed the dark world of professional sports. The world of sex, drugs and alcohol use by professional athletes. The main character in the book, "Clay" seems like a nice normal guy before he enters the pros and gets mixed up with "Max." Let's hope that some of the pros out there don't cheat on their significant others as much as Clay did in this book.

The Dark Side of the Game: My Life in the NFL 42 reviews Tim Green
Grand Central Publishing, 1997
A very revealing look behind the scenes of the NFL This book will rate well among those with limited knowledge of the NFL and an interest in delving into the minds of professional football players. I read this aloud with my wife while traveling and she also found it engrossing.
The Dark Side offers much content referencing many behind the scenes elements that I would expect the general masses are not likely aware of. One would be hard ...

Double Reverse 11 reviews Tim Green
Grand Central Publishing, 1999
Jerry Maguire On the Dark Side I had my doubts when I purchased this book. I seriously did not think that ex-football player Tim Green's new novel had anything to offer in my taste of books. I was wonderfully surprised to find that Green's style is quick, gritty and makes you think that the NFL can be just as mean and rotten then any other business in the world. Green's story is about two running backs from the same team ...

The Fourth Perimeter 34 reviews Tim Green
Grand Central Publishing, 2005
Just fantastic What flashes through your mind when you hear the term "Secret Service?" I'm sure you don't think of the unobtrusive way that the waiter refills your water glass at your favorite upper-crust restaurant. No, the Secret Service handles a lot of different things, but the biggie is the protection of the President of the United States. The immediate image that pops up is a bunch of big guys in nice ...
