Separation of Power
The Mitch Rapp series are fast-moving compelling novels. Separation of Power is a real page-turner. I didn't want to put it down. Mitch Rapp, the main character, is a CIA assassin, who unabashedly believes in execution as a way to solve political problems. The book's author,Vince Flynn, uses Rapp's rationalizations for violence as a device to persuade the reader that there is nothing wrong with ...

This one is a keeper!
If you're a fan of the genre, you will love this book or any of the Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp books. I, personally, could put this one on the bookshelf for a while and read it again like rewatching a great movie. This is one of the most thrilling thrillers I have ever read. Definately a keeper!

A Good, Solid Read
I just finished this novel. The storyline is good & well played out. I like the ending. It comes together well with no loose threads. The Mitch Rapp character is always entertaining in Flynn's books. The only negative I have is the characters are the absolute best in everything they do. A bit over the top in that respect. All in all, it's a good solid novel

Memorable Book
This book was memorable to me for how well the author, Vince Flynn, described a military attack on a terrorist camp. Also it was memorable for how well Flynn described how a terrorist cell could plan and carry out a nuclear attack on the United States. The author uses Mitch Rapp, CIA operative, to carry us chapter by chapter through what I can only describe as one of the best suspense ...

Mitch we need you now
Unfortunately, I read Flynn's thrillers in reverse sequential order, but it made no difference. Rapp is some guy and I am sure we have men of his caliber today, who can't be utilized due to the politicians. Realistic picture of our political leaders today and presidential candidates. We need more people in positions of power like Stansfield. Rapp knows the enemy and knows what to do with ...

"Executive Power" looks the other way.
President Hayes has the power, but he looks the other way when it gets down to the real world of dealing with terrorists. This is where Mitch Rapp and his Seal Team take over and feel the justice of the gun is the only justice that terrorists understand. Mitch's world was very simple for him and his method of operation straight forward, but then his identity is revealed by a stupid politician ...

Another winner from Mr. Flynn!
This was my first Kindle read. What a great way to start. I couldn't believe I was done with it so quickly--what a great action thriller. If I ever get in trouble in a foreign country, I can only hope that people like Mitch come to my rescue. I wouldn't recommend it for the PC folks. Much too real for them.

The Third Option98 reviews

Another thriller
Rapp is involved in an assassination plot in Germany and should have taken the advice of his gut. His cohorts aren't working on the same side and try to kill him. Fast paced and always great to watch Rapp get out of a mess. Like Stansfield and hate to see him go. Kennedy is okay, but does not have the savvy that Stansfield has. Boy, once again those dirty Senators. Boy, it motivates one to ...
