You won't be disappointed.
How is it that six people, some of whom are complete strangers to each other, affect each other's lives to the point of no return? Life happens, and for some it happens in a big way. Wells Earl Draughon has done it again. He has taken a storyline and created a world where the characters come to life and make you think about them until the last page has been read. Steven Bates is minding his ...

one of the most important books you'll ever read
This book presents the only account of the meaning of freedom that does not hide behind vagueness and obfuscation or try to pedal a political agenda under the guise of a definition of freedom. sure to become a holiday classic
This book pulled me in on the very first page and held me on every page after that. I would have read it all in one sitting, but I wanted to make it last and relish every scene because there is so much here to like. Ruth's predicament is like one I've gone through myself. And Kim's dilemma--even though I haven't been through what she is going through, the story is so vivid and so moving, I ...

Do We Really Care?
"While America Sleeps" Islam, and every little organized crime cult from all over the world is getting it's cookies here. Sleeper cells? YES. Immigration is allowing a destruction to this once mighty country from within. Worse yet we are helping. We do not read, we allow our news media to tell us anything without question. For example 9/11, and we allow ourselves to be led by the nose by a ...

a gripping thriller
This is a story about a young mother willing to go to any extreme to find her kidnapped child. It's a gripping thriller with real people you'll be pulling for all the way. The scenes from the child's point of view are so real that you wonder how anyone could get inside the head of a five-year-old girl that well! Eventually Linda realizes that the only things they know about the organization ...

one of a kind
This is the only book I know dealing with the questions and issues underlying literature that has been written by someone knowledgeable in both literature and philosophy. Another thing that makes the book unique is that it is neither yet another case of post-theory "theorizing" nor a passionate plea to reinstate Traditionalism. This book rejects both. But its primary purpose is not ...

a mother's love
I loved this story! It shows how a mother's love lives on in her even when she gives up her baby for adoption years ago, and how it moves her to seek to be reunited with her baby. This story and these people are very real, and I know a lot of women have lived through this, but even if you haven't you'll love experiencing it the way a woman does who's been through it.

Don't be cheated by drive-by reviewers
If you think writing is (or ought to be) simple, you're on the road to failure. Writing a quality novel or a good screenplay is not simple, and writing books that don't show you the complexities are wasting your time and guaranteeing that you remain unpublished and unproduced (and, thus, that you continue to buy more writing books!). You need this book if you're at an advanced level. If you ...

How the Postliberals came to power
They have been called "crazies of the Left" (Bernard Goldberg) or "wackos" (Mark Steyn), but more and more people think and act the way they do. In November, there may be enough of them to put one of their own in the White House. How? Why? You'll find out in this "nonfiction novel." All the self-destructive behavior going on in America--from welcoming and pardoning illegal immigrants, ...

A Love Story
Last Things, First Things is an unusual love story, told through the words and thoughts of two people facing the shared crises of death. Author Draughon's plot is quick-paced and the characters nicely fleshed out. They are real people with whom a reader can relate. This intriguing story kept me interested from the first page to the last, especially the inner conflict running inside Val and Erin ...

restores your faith in love
This is a love story that will make you believe in love again. Donnella is the woman we all want to be and that all men want to find. She's free. She's comfortable with herself. She accepts her body and she relishes the world around her. You can understand why Ben's love for her is for always. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good romance with an exciting accompanying story.
