As the author of this book, I apologise for insulting readers of these comments with my (unbiased??) star rating. Unfortunately, the book was found to be infringing upon a registered trademark (Lake Wobegon) as the first copies were coming off the press. A few of those copies may still be available for sale. Meanwhile, a revised title is in the works and the book will be republished this fall.

Light but thought-provoking
This fictional account is an easy and enjoyable read. The author knows whereof he speaks concerning volcanoes, and the book is very informative to the non-geologist.
