I truly enjoyed this book. I have read a few other books from Ms Markham and this book didn't disappoint me. The characters sparked to life in this book. The author did a great job showing how the dynamics of family life. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for an entertaining read. I also recommend WEEKENDS by Lindy Hudis

I love her books, but this writing in the present tense MAKES ME CRAZY! The entire time I'm reading the book I am translating it into the past tense, as in "They seem so comfortable together, she notes" instantly becomes in my head "They seemed so comfortable together, she noted."
