There Goes the Bride: Making Up Your Mind, Calling it Off and Moving On25 reviews
Rachel Safier, Wendy, LCSW Roberts, ...

Jossey-Bass, 2003

Excellent advice and reassurance
This book is a long-needed resource for would-be and not-sure brides! Ms. Safier reinforces what many women know deep down: That if you have doubts, it's time to walk out before you walk down the aisle. An engagement is easier to get out of than a divorce, and sometimes those uneasy feelings are the nagging of common sense and responsiblity, not "cold feet." She also tells you how to heal ...

The Remains of the Dead (Ghost Dusters Mysteries, No. 1)24 reviews
Wendy Roberts

Signet, 2007

A new author for me.
I had picked this up as a recommendation from another mystery website. I was not disappointed. The characters were very likeable and the story kept my interest throughout. I can't wait for the next book in this series and hope that there are many more.

Cape Wind: Money, Celebrity, Energy, Class, Politics, and the Battle for Our Energy Future33 reviews
ROBERT WHITCOMB, Wendy Williams

PublicAffairs, 2008

interesting review of opposition to good ideas
Cape Wind, by Wendy Williams and Robert Whitcomb, is a fascinating review of the early days of the Jim Gordon's project to build windmills in Nantucket Sound. The book was published in 2007 and is thus already a little out-of-date. The final chapter is not very hopeful about the prospect of wind energy ever coming to Nantucket Sound, but since then many legislators and several governors have ...

Discovering Our Past: A Brief Introduction to Archaeology2 reviews
Wendy Ashmore, Robert Sharer

McGraw-Hill Humanities/Social Sciences/Languages, 2005

Not like most college textbooks
I'm currently a student and i'm taking an Introducion to Archaeology course because I've always been interested in learning a little bit about archaeology. This is the book that I have to use for my class and most of the time I dread having to read the books in any of my classes, but this book is an exception. Even if I wasn't taking the course in college, I would enjoy reading this book. ...

Settlement Archaeology at Quirigua, Guatemala (University Museum Monograph)1 review
Wendy Ashmore

University of Pennsylvania Museum Publication, 2007

Comprehensive
This book is a very nice comprehensive look at Maya settlement and household archaeology in general as well as a detailed report specifically on Quirigua. The accompanying CD-ROM was very helpful as it contained maps and drawings that helped me visualize what Ashmore was describing in the text.

Archaeology: Discovering Our Past2 reviews
Robert Sharer, Wendy Ashmore

McGraw-Hill Humanities/Social Sciences/Languages, 2002

Decent book but needs more pictures
I had this as my main text for a class at Foothill college and it was a relatively easy read if you use the glossary. Their could have been more pictures of the items discussed and I would recommend to any teacher thinking of using this book to gather some more higher quality pictures of the items discussed for the student to look at.
