Transformation: The Breakthrough 6 reviews Whitley Strieber
Avon Books, 1997
This book is out of this world I loved this book,it is full of revelations about the mysteries of the human soul, and reveals that the universe is much bigger and multifaceted than the average man or woman could have ever guessed. This book is very deep, and has a definite spiritual feel to it.The book is a non fiction but poetic account of a man named whitney streiber, who has been abducted by aliens, numerous times throughout his ...

2012: The War for Souls 89 reviews Whitley Strieber
Tor Books, 2008
Good start......horrible end This book started off well. The action flew and the characters were interesting. Then it started to become tedious and fall apart. I think somewhere along the line the author forgot he was telling a story and started believing he was living this and reporting it. Anyways the last 1/3 of the book was painful to read and the plot just fell apart:(

War Day and the Journey Onward 12 reviews Whitley Strieber, James Kunetka
Warner Books, 1988
a masterpiece, very frightening and informative WARDAY is the literary equivalent of a Peter Watkins film; indeed what it most closely resembles is his brilliant 1965 "documentary" THE WAR GAME. What the writers of WARDAY share with Watkins is a wholly originaly concept for dealing with a work of art that depicts the possible effects of a nuclear war: treat it like a documentary about the dread event--as if the nuclear war HAD occurred. The ...

The Grays 78 reviews Whitley Strieber
Tor Books, 2006
Excellent! Fast-paced. Electric! I read Communion a long time ago...I thought that book was very provocative. The Grays is a "ficitious" account of alien/human teamwork which plants the seed that the events portrayed are quite feasibly believable. I applaud Whitley Streiber for yet another thought provoking read...
Thanks!

The Key 6 reviews Whitley Strieber
Walker & Collier, 2001
Beautiful Possabilities What a great book. Even if it might be all fiction it still has an incredibly wonderful message. And it has helped mold my understanding of the possibilities. Believe nothing and open your heart and mind to the infinite.
"Sin is the denial of the right to thrive!"
A quick read, took me one day. Fun, fascinating, enthralling, intelligent and short.
I have no problem pointing you to ...

Confirmation: The Hard Evidence of Aliens Among Us? 23 reviews Whitley Strieber
St. Martin's Press, 1998
Nothing new, nothing convincing Hard evidence? If you consider fuzzy photos and anecdotal evidence to be "hard", then yes. Otherwise, this book really offers nothing new. Everything that is presented in this book is easily explained by any UFO skeptic. If you are interested in hearing a more natural reason for UFOs and so called unexplainable phenomena, check out "Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan or "Why People Believe Weird ...

Top Secret/Majic: Operation Majestic-12 and the United States Government's UFO Cover-up 15 reviews Stanton T. Friedman
Da Capo Press, 2005
Explosive and Threatening!!! With the discovery of the MJ12 Documents in the national archives, Friedman made history. How accurate are the papers? And how reliable is the list of these 12 top scientists and military men?? That is the question.
Nevertheless, there are plenty of evidence and dat to substantiate Friedman's claims. Great book!!!

Communion: A True Story 77 reviews Whitley Strieber
Harper Paperbacks, 2008
An Entertaining Version of "Reality" I have always thought of UFO-ology as what will replace the conventional Big Man In The Sky religion with little grey men from beyond the sky. It stands to reason as man has evolved and found that there is no god in the clouds that they would look elsewhere. Of course, since 9/11, all knee jerk sheep have ran back to the cross and the flag, waving the emblems of their belief, hoping they will ...

The Wolfen 32 reviews Whitley Strieber
Bantam Books, 1978
Wolfen - a spellbinding read! This book in simply incredible. It is a well crafted roller coaster ride that takes you into the world and mind of the Wolfen, a highly intelligent wolf mutation that lives in and around our civilization and feeds on our outacsts. I couldn't put it down.
There is a movie based loosly on the book, but the story of the wolfen is totally lost in the movie version. The movie is a ...

The Coming Global Superstorm 145 reviews Art Bell, Whitley Strieber
Pocket Star, 2004
Your review of reviews--a new unofficial Amazon feature! Well without a doubt the collection of reviews here for this rather loose-limbed and pop-ish book makes for some entertaining and often amusing reading. Highly recommended and in some ways better than the book itself!
Bell and Strieber are a first-rate carny act (and I mean that in a genuinely complimentary way!) and whether they've got their facts straight or not whatever they do is bound to ...

Lilith's Dream: A Tale of the Vampire Life 11 reviews Whitley Strieber
Pocket Star, 2003
still some life left in vampire saga I enjoyed this novel a lot more than other vampire novels, chiefly because Strieber is such a good writer. This novel may not be terribly original, but it has some of the most vivid writing I have ever read, especially in the descriptions of Lilith's attempts to deal with the modern world; not only that, it doesn;t rely on gore to deliver the thrills, though it does have its horrific moments. ...

Majestic 16 reviews Whitley Strieber
Little, Brown, 1990
great book- impossible to find in stores Great piece of semi-historical fiction, or alternative historical fiction, loosely-veiled non-fiction, or science fiction (depending on your perspective on the issue).
Majestic is yet another take on the events of the infamous alleged Roswell flying saucer crash and subsequent cover up in 1947. Centered around interviews with a career CIA man who was involved with government UFO research and ...

The Secret School: Preparation for Contact 11 reviews Whitley Strieber
HarperCollins Publishers, 1997
The true nature of time and reality.... This is the second time that I have felt compelled to read this book. It is an important, virtually unique, work. The nearest works to it that I can think of would be Phillip K. Dick's Exegesis and Harpur's Daimonic Reality. However, The Secret School is definately the best discussion of the true nature of time and reality that I have found. Streiber is correct about the nature and importance of ...

Warday and the Journey Onwards (Coronet Books) 48 reviews Whitley Strieber, James W. Kunetka
Coronet Books, 1985
a very possible scenario during the Cold War Okay, here's the lowdown. On October 27, 1988, the US and the Soviet Union engage in a limited nuclear exchange. Shortly before the exchange began, the Soviets detonated 4 EMPs above the US, disabling all technology in the US and leaving it vulnerable to attack. Three US cities are destroyed, New York City, Washington D.C., and San Antonio. Military bases are hit as well. In the aftermath, the US ...
