You will actually LOL!
I didn't think Gaskell could get better as after I read her first book (Pushing 30), she went to the top of my favorite authors list next to Evanovich. But she did! Maybe it's that I can relate to Claire better or that Claire has too many LOL moments that kept me reading until 2am. Either way, Gaskell did not dissapoint... great read that you won't be able to put down. Chic lit at its best. :)

Love her books!
I just read Mommy Tracked and I loved it so much that I wanted to read this one and it was wonderful as well. The sisters are very interesting and there's a seriousness and uniqueness (is that a word?) to Gaskell's "chick lit" that stands out from the rest. It's a refreshing read and I had a really hard time putting it down. Sophie's character was funny. I was laughing out loud at some of her ...

Great Read!
Every suburban mother can identify with at least one of the characters in this book. The heroines in this story struggle with real life issues in a humorous way. My favorite part of the book is the competitive nightmare mom with the perfect kids getting what's coming to her! You will laugh out loud!

A Fun Read
From the first page the book drew me in and I read it in one sitting. The characters were well written and came to life on the pages. I loved Ellie & Ted's first date, it was laugh out loud funny and so well written. Add the dysfunctional family, friends & enemies, and a pug named Sally and you have a fabulous book that has me searching out Whitney Gaskell's other books.

Testing Kate7 reviews
Whitney Gaskell

Bantam, 2006

An A+
I loved this fourth book by Whitney Gaskell. It offers up more of the fun, relatable characters and clever dialogue of her previous books. Kate Bennett is a first year law student who must face the realization that playing it safe isn't always playing it best. Though a law career and a long time boyfriend may offer Kate the security she craves, she soon discovers true happiness likely lies ...
