This book is one in an excellent series by Scholastic. It has beautiful pictures. The text is simple and printed in a large, clear font--perfect for a young reader. It is an excellent supplement to learning about our continents.

This is a children's biography about Thomas Edison that is written for the beginning reader with pictures on every other page but still contains some interesting facts. I was surprised to learn that he invented over 1,000 things and was home schooled. He never stopped trying new things--a good lesson for me. Quick read--only takes five minutes!
