This is an awesome book for those with some Windows 2000 experience, but not a lot. Not only are all of the objectives covered in good detail, in many places the book steps back and gives you all of the background information that is left out of the objectives. Very Dissapointed
I've been very happy in general with the QUE products I've used in the past. Que helped me get through my MCAD program and I still use the guide as a reference book. Que helped me earn my MCSA. This book however is worth little more than a summary text of networks and it's full of errors at that. Get a Proofreader
Wow, were they ever trying to get this out the door in a hurry. The spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors in this book are embarrassing. I could overlook that if they didn't make a few technical errors too. The practice test on the cdrom is buggy and contains several answers that are plain wrong. Warning! This book is awful!
Worst coverage of any book I've ever used. I'm a big fan of the Mike Myers Passport books but I guess they don't make a 70-296 book and a colleague recommended Exam Cram. Don't waste your time or money on this one. I don't know if all Exam Cram books are as bad as this one, this was the first I ever purchased. Maybe it was just this author??
