MCSA/MCSE Implementing and Managing Exchange Server 2003 Exam Cram 2 (Exam Cram 70-284) (Exam Cram 2) 5 reviews Orin Thomas, Will Schmied, ...
Que, 2004
Good Preparation for the Exam This book covers, in condensed format, the material tested on the Exchange 2003 exam. I wouldn't recommend this book to someone who had no experience with Exchange 2003. All books in the Cram series are for people who either have other study materials and need some sort of summary document, or for people that have extensive experience with the actual product. In my own case I had experience with ...

The Black Hand: A Barker & Llewelyn Novel 14 reviews Will Thomas
Touchstone, 2008
I just LOVE this series I couldn't wait for #5 to come out & it's as enjoyable as the rest. If you read the quote from Laurell K. Hamilton regarding this series, I simply couldn't agree more. My only fault is why can't Mr Thomas start writing 2 of these each year?

Gravity and Grace 5 reviews Simone Weil
Bison Books, 1997
They called her the Red Virgin Simone Weil's writings were impenetrable for me in the fifties. Now I have most of her works and I am frequently amazed at how penetrating are her ideas and thoughts, and how contrary to most thinking today. That in itself recommends her. She understands people, life, and suffering, and sees its purpose. She sees through all falseness to the goodness. Simone Weil is the most honest person I ...

To Kingdom Come: A Novel 14 reviews Will Thomas
Touchstone, 2006
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! I've had more fun reading Will Thomas books in the last couple weeks than I have the whole rest of the year. Absolutely terrific. Wonderful writing, intriguing plots, and characters that are so real you'd think they actually existed somewhere, or wish they did. The only problem I have with Will Thomas is his books come out but once a year. Drat!

Some Danger Involved: A Novel 39 reviews Will Thomas
Touchstone, 2005
Sherlock with a Twist I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Victorian mystery as much as I did this one. What talent the author has to evoke the reader's feelings of being right there with the characters of the time and landscape of London's turn-of-the-century era. This first installment's plot has a Jewish theme to it and I can honestly say that I found it all very interesting. I learned a lot about Jewish ...

An excellent book in a great series Private enquiry agent Cyrus Barker and his assistant Thomas Llewelyn discover a pawn ticket in the suit of Thomas' predecessor, Quong, who had been murdered. The ticket leads to a rare book on forbidden martial arts techniques, stolen from a Chinese monastery. Many people want this book and many die, nearly including Barker himself, as he and Thomas try to protect themselves, save the book and ...

Sculptural Sphere Will Bradley, Tom Healy, ...
Sammlung Goetz, 2004
The multi-dimensionality of our daily experiences is reduced by the television and internet media to the surface of a flat screen. Thus reality loses more and more of its spatial qualities, even as theoretical physicists develop increasingly sophisticated models to better understand the structures of time and space. As they employ an ever-growing number of dimensions in this endeavor, the mode of our sensual reception continues to become as flat ...

Building DMZs for Enterprise Networks 5 reviews Robert J. Shimonski, Will Schmied, ...
Syngress, 2003
Never Before Seen Wow. This is all I can say from reading this book. I cant beleive the level of information in this book. As a Network Analyst, I found that this book clearly, painlessly and in a very detailed manner helped me deploy a DMZ on my network. Athough my network is not that huge, this book really helped. This is a great book that made me look good at work when I deployed a PIX with IIS and had to ...

Bordertown: A Chronicle of the Borderlands 1 review Mark Alan Arnold
Roc, 1986
GREAT READ!!!!!!!!!!!! The first book in the bordertown series I read was a travliers guide. I was hooked after that. This book is a great urban fantasy. I makes me want to run away and just be young and care free. The introduction by Farrel Din is perfect, He is a character I alaways want to know more about. Little glimpes of his charater in other books is like torture. Danceland is like a slice of pie with the ...

Germany and the Americas: Culture, Politics, and History (Transatlantic Relations) 1 review
ABC-CLIO, 2005
Tom A. Bowen As an American of German descent, I object to this set of books. Reason being is that there are material omissions and material misrepresentations in the books. With regard to the material omissions, the books do not discuss or identify that two U.S. Presidents are of German extraction, thse two presidents being Herbert Hoover and Dwight D. Eisenhower. With regard to the material ...

In recent years man-machine-communication has become more important. Several speech dialogue systems have been developed in order to provide a very comfortable interaction for categorising users prior to forwarding them to a human employee. The aim is to satisfy the user without or at least with reduced human involvement. Hence, the goal of this book is to demonstrate how to create a dynamic speech dialogue with VoiceXML agents. This also ...
