Know Before You Buy
This review does NOT reflect the changes of the 2007 revised ACLS. The book has old, outdated information which is no longer applicable, nor recommended. Also I found a question that was repeated and had TWO OPPOSITE ANSWERS. Best just to use the Algorithm cards to pass the exam.

Lots of great bite sized bits of knowledge!
I think the previous reviewer was way to harsh... or possibly, arrogant? Hmmm... most of the info in this book is very signifigant, and unlike many review books, it is not weighed down by too much technically verbose fill. The book is written by the MD and nurses! Good quick study book
this book is a really good 'take a peek' study book. It has straight up facts only. I like the way the facts are put. it tells you a simple question for exam ple *what are the initial symptoms of increased ICP? and it just tells you the answer. Very straight to the point. I am studying for boards now, and I think it is a good guide along with the other books I am studying.

It's hard to believe that a book edited by doctors and nurses could have so many typos and spelling errors. In addition, the format doesn't help you retain information - some answers are just long lists of symptoms. Eh....not much of the bullet format. I like the Secret's books better. Might as well read a text. This is a great book to use in the ER to study, since you can read a question and answer during your down time.
