Tactics of Duty (Battletech, No 19)12 reviews
William H. Keith Jr.

Viking Penguin Inc, 1995

The book is enthralling!
The book is very good. I learned alot about the clans byreading this book. The glossary is very good. The book even includes a map to pinpoint the worlds mentioned. The BTech universe is brought to new heights with this book. The drama was good, and Romano Liao's death was an interesting twist. All in all, a must read.

Warstrider: Jackers1 review
William H., Jr. Keith

Avon Books (Mm), 1994

The best book in the series so far
Warstrider:Jackers is written better than the previous two books, and it is extremely creative. Not as good as the Seafort Saga by David Feintuch, but worth reading all the same.

Mercenary's Star (Battletech)2 reviews
William H. Keith Jr.

New American Library, 1992

A "keep-on-reading" tale about the Gray Death Legion
The Gray Death Legion, a mercenary group formed by Grayson Death Carlyle, takes on its first assignment -- to train rebels on a Draco world in anti-mech tactics. But when their way off the planet is destroyed, they must ally with the untrusting natives to free the capital city, the only way off the planet. Personally, I found this book very entertaining. It deals with freedom, loyalty, and ...

Bolo Rising12 reviews
William H., Jr. Keith

Baen Books, 1998

Does Not Disappoint-- A Great Read
This was a totally satisfying bolo novel. I have read a number of others, but most of the best are in the past. I'm delighted that a talented writer has gotten his teeth into this series, and hopefully can continue to breathe life into it. The personalities were developed very well for an action novel. As well as we could ask. Hector's personality came alive as his "blocks" were slowly ...

Shrapnel: Fragments from the Inner Sphere (Battletech No. 8611)3 reviews
Jordan K. Weisman, Ken St. Andre, ...

FASA Corporation, 1989

Very good bits and pieces of Shrapnel
I managed to find a copy of this book a few years ago and I think it is worth all the money I spent on it. It is a compilation of short stories by some Battletech novelists such as Michael A. Stackpole and William H. Keith, and also some other authors such as Bear Peters, Mark O. Green and others. The short stories are of excellent quality, especially Stackpole's, Keith's and Peters' works. ...

Official Riven Hints and Solutions: The Sequel to Myst (Bradygames Strategy Guides)7 reviews
William H. Keith Jr., Nina Barton

BRADY GAMES, 1997

Too vital! You gotta have this book!
Riven was a super challenge and I hate cheating. This book was so awesome because it gave you ONLY the help you wanted when(if) you get to the point that you get really stuck. It is well divided so you don't see clues/info that would give away something that you didn't want to know. These people should get hired to write solution books for all the top games! It keeps you from being tempted to ...

Warstrider: Rebellion (Warstrider)1 review
William H., Jr. Keith

Avon Books (Mm), 1993

Very Creative
Warstrider:Rebellion is quite possibly one of the most creatively handled work of science fiction that I have ever read. Full of details about machines and computers and aliens that add to it's depth. If you are looking for a creative book, read this one and it's prequel, Warstrider.

Warstrider: Netlink1 review
William H., Jr. Keith

Avon Books (Mm), 1995

Mottly space opera, but good hard SF
On the plus side, this book is definitely hard SF with few fantasy elements. The technology is pretty well presented and basically plausible. Some of the technology seems to be based on the Kim Stanley Robinson series about Mars. The warstriders of the title are basically improved tanks that appear in many hard SF stories. However, though well described, they are not particularly central to the ...

Two of Minds (Star Drive)3 reviews
William H. Keith Jr.

Wizards of the Coast, 2000

Being of Two (of) Minds
A fast-paced, well parsed story with a constant involvement with the main character,"Spacer", and his jauggernaut ride from almost adult to full participation in mature life. The characters and scenes live, with excellent fleshing-out, remarkable clarity, and four separate threads woven into a really good tale. The action scenes are vivid and done so well you glide through the action ...

Warstrider Symbionts, a great sci-fi novel
Warstrider Symbionts is about Dev Cameron, who has recently had a mind-link with a Naga. This mind link caused Dev to almost go crazy.
