An excellent handbook on the subject
Sometimes it is very difficult to teach a course in quantum mechanics because there are few problems that have solutions that do not require months of research and numerical methods to solve. I purchased this book to assist me in my graduate courses using Jackson's text. Many of the homework assignments were actually problems taken from qualifying exams at different universites, so this book was very helpful for those problems. This is the best problem and solutions book in Atomic Physics I sow! It has a broad variety of detail solved problems, from those which are almost easy to those which are really hard.
