Fluid Mechanics with Student Resources DVD 1 review Yunus A. Cengel, John M. Cimbala
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2009
Paperback vs. Hardcover You can save at least $40 by going paperback instead of hardcover for this textbook, and the only thing missing from the paperback version is the constants written on the inside cover of the hardcover book. I just had my roommate photocopy the page for me and taped it in my paperback book. Exactly equal textbooks, not so equal price. Paperbacks are the way to go.

Heat Transfer: A Practical Approach with EES CD 3 reviews Yunus A. Cengel, Yunus Cengel
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2002
This is a Great Book This Book is much Better than any of the Other books out there as far as a GOOD Engineering reference for Heat Transfer. This Book is highly logical and very practical. The Author does not bog you down into the differential equations and boundary conditions, which is un necessary for 99% of all Heat Transfer work. Anwers to problems are not as needed when they have Detailed Examples with Step ...

Property Tables Booklet/Thermodynamics 1 review Yunus A. Cengel, Michael A. Boles
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2006
Expensive considering it's in the back of the main book I bought this to accompany 'Thermodynamics An Engineering Approach' by the same authors. It saves having to flip to the back of the main book every time to look up a property to solve a problem.
The charts and tables in the main book are printed in red+black instead of just black in this booklet. This makes the charts in the main book much easier to read data from.
If money is an issue ...

Introduction To Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer 2 reviews Yunus A. Cengel
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 1996
Thermo Very difficult reading. You must navigate pages of "fluff" reading just to get to an important point. Skip the wording and get to the point please!!! The example problems do not even start to prepare you for the chapter problems.....never mind the review problems!! This book will give you a very basic idea of what is going on but you must spend too much time re-reading most sections to ...

Thermodynamics: An Engineering Approach w/ version 1.2 CD ROM 9 reviews Yunus A. Cengel, Michael Boles
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2001
Thermodynamics with a bad, good, or no teacher. This is an excelent book. Yanus Cengel & Michael Boles did a very good job. I have read the other reviews about it being too wordy. That is the case sometimes but not really enough to make things difficult. Although I appreciate the analogies and definitions for some topics. I have no idea if this book is good for review since I read it cover to cover. The suplimental paperback book with ...
