Very good.....but
I bought this book hoping for a Linda Howard story I hadn't read, only to find the one in here is An Independent Wife. Good story, if you haven't read it yet, though. And if you like Stella Cameron, her contribution was worthwhile, as well.

Good story with Lively Characters
I only read the last story, but it was really good. About a foster mother struggling to keep her home in order when a man is sent, via her mother, to throw everything into chaos, or so it first seems. I really enjoyed this story because of the many lively characters as well as the attraction between the hero and heroine. Though I have not read the other two stories, I intend to just as soon as ...

Sensual, Exciting, Fun Stories
This was my first Linda Howard story and I was blown away by how good this one is. I knew the other authors and bought the book mostly because of Catherine Coulter, but was pleasantly surprised by Linda Howard. All three stories are great. I usually prefer historical romances but this book has made me realize that modern ones can be very good, too.

Help for breast cancer victims and those who love them
This book is a "must read" for anyone who has a family history of breast cancer, is currently undergoing treatment for it, is a survivor, or is close to anyone who has breast cancer or has survived it. Breast cancer, while predominantly a "female disease" does strike men (it also strikes transgendered individuals, especially those on female hormone regimens). The need for a book with a ...

FAITH / IT TAKES A REBEL - 2 AWESOMEREADS!!!
FAITH is basically a best friends turn lover type story. Two lawyers who has been friends forever but were married to other people. Being together never occured to them until they eventually got divorced with their partners, bumped into each other during a case and then the chemistry took off. Barbara Delinsky doesn't do the hottest love scenes and her heroes are not as alpha as Jayne Ann ...

Wonderful Barbara
I've read just about everything Barbara has written. I'm a new reader of Barbara and once I read one book, I went back and tried to buy all the rest...I'm just thrilled everytime I find one I haven't read..she will just have to write faster This particlular book was a lovely nice love story that has at least a bite to it with story line. I like that. Hope future readers will enjoy as much as ...

This is a book you'll want to read again and again.
You'll feel like you just had a scintillating dinner conversation with some of the top players in the publishing industry. This book is firmly grounded in reality and offers so much more than a pseudo-"sure-fire formula" for hitting bestseller lists-- it offers real insight into the ways success flourishes. This is a book you'll want to read again and again to glean new pieces of wisdom each ...

Three super books in ONE!
Three powerhouse writers Anne Stuart, Elizabeth Lowell and Barbara Delinksy with three full size novels in one!! This is how reprints should be done!!! Anne Stuart the Queen of the blacksoul, blackhearted bad boys we loves, gives a change of pace with a smiling, kinder-gentler hero in Chain of Love. Cathy Whiteheart was barely pulling out of the deep depression after an abusive relationship, so ...

One of the BEST stories I've read in a while!!
Oh, what can I say. Barb Delinsky has done it again. This book grabs you right from the beginning and doesn't let you go. You feel like you know the characters personnally. You don't want the book to end. You will even shed a few tears at the shocking ending. EXCELLENT!!

One indiscretion ripples into the lives of others forever
The book is hard to put down because you feel you know these people as you sit on the sidelines and watch their lives unfold. One incident in the quiet of a day one thinks goes unnoticed leads to the unhappiness of two families.......how they recover is the beauty of the text. The characters feel like your neighbors, your family, and when it ends you wish them well and hope for a sequel. It ...

I mourned!
This love story was very enjoyable to ride along and enjoy--yet, realists as many of us are believe it's almost too good to be real. I felt Ms. Delinsky hints she believes she felt the same way. The ending didn't ruin the "too good to be real" love story, it imitated love stories that are few, but all too true, around the world. As someone mentioned in another review, "it was a daring story ...

Hush Little Baby, Don't You Cry ...
COAST ROAD being the 6th novel I'd read of BD's work, I had begun to notice that her fiction creates a state of mind similar to what one of my readers (a US Marine) described about my work, "I was reading and reading, and all of a sudden I realized I had forgotten I was reading and felt I was just thinking my own thoughts." Delinsky's fiction is so naturally and seamlessly real that I had, ...

Life Changing Experiences
In THE SUMMER I DARED, Delinsky gives us a believable and sympathetic character in Julia. She manages to live her life as an obedient wife, and loving and dutiful mother and daughter. For her, her life revolves around what she can do for others. She even tolerates her husband's various affairs. Given these circumstances, she barely exists in her own eyes at all. She awakens from her selfless ...
