Bathtime for Biscuit (My First I Can Read) 11 reviews Alyssa Satin Capucilli
HarperTrophy, 1999
We like it for all the wrong reasons. My 6-year-old brought this book home from school, and it's a fine learning-to-read book for her. What struck her, though, was the (unintentionally?) hilarious nature of a few of the illustrations. They have to be seen to be appreciated. Call us juvenile, but we laughed until we cried. I'm buying one for home, and more for gifts! Thanks, Biscuit!

Bad Kitty Gets a Bath (Bad Kitty) 8 reviews Nick Bruel
Roaring Brook Press, 2008
"Bad Kitty" is so GOOD!!! I can't say enough about how much our family loves this and all of Mr. Bruel's books. The illustrations are fantastic and convey such wonderful emotions and humor. As for the story, it is simply hilarious. It appeals to both children and adults; in fact, anyone who has ever tried to bathe a cat or simply owned a cat and/or dog will really get a kick out of it. With "Uncle Murray's Fun Facts" ...

Splish, Splash! (My First I Can Read) 4 reviews Sarah Weeks
HarperTrophy, 2000
wonderful illustrations and a fun story! Slpish Splash is a wonderful beginner reading book. Chub the fish enjoys sitting in his tub and when ten of his friends want to come in chub says "jump in if you wish". But can a tub so small hold them all? The story is fun for beginner readers and Ashley Wolff's illustrations add colorful and playful fun that beginner readers and non-readers will enjoy looking at time and again. My five year ...

Bath Time! 15 reviews Sandra Boynton
Workman Publishing Company, 2007
Daughter LOVES it We've had this book for almost a year and my one year old daughter LOVES it! We read it to her in the bath every night. It has faded a bit but has not fallen apart as other people mentioned. If it had, we would have bought a new one!

Do Pirates Take Baths? 10 reviews Kathy Tucker
Albert Whitman & Company, 1997
the best pirate book! Of all the pirate books out there this is by far the funniest one. Short questions top each page (Do pirates take baths?) and brief but funny explanations follow. Be sure to examine the illustrations-some of the book's funniest moments are wordless. This is a book you and your children will enjoy equally, and will definitly read many times over.

King Bidgood's in the Bathtub: Book and Musical CD (Caldecott Honor Books) 52 reviews Audrey Wood
Harcourt Children's Books, 2005
Making Bath Time Fun This is a wonderfully illustrated book about a silly King who would not get out of the tub. The song on the CD isn't quite how I remembered it but fun just the same.

Concrete Countertops: Design, Form, and Finishes for the New Kitchen and Bath 47 reviews Fu-Tung Cheng, Eric Olsen
Taunton, 2002
concrete countertops The book only details a start to finish job of a single (albeit fairly complex) kitchen counter. It would be helpful to cover some other methodologies to make it a more diverse compendium. It looks to do a good job of covering many of the pitfalls that a novice like myself may encounter on a first project. Some beautiful pics included of other projects as well.

Barnyard Bath Sandra Boynton
Workman Publishing Company, 2008
Here comes BarnYard Bath ! It?s a waterproof cousin of Barnyard Dance ?the famous board book bestseller. And what could make tub time more fun than a book? Especially one that floats. Because let's face it, board books are highly impractical in the tub. Safety-tested, nontoxic, and so much fun?just like Bath Time !, Boynton's first bath book.

Little Quack's Bath Book 4 reviews Lauren Thompson
Little Simon, 2006
My son loves to splash to this book. At first, I thought, how lame--a book with little ducks going in the water and that's it. There's really no plot here. But, my son kept wanting to read it during bath time. So, each time a duck goes in the water in the book, we make big splashes in the tub. This makes my son laugh and laugh. With a little creativity in delivering the content of the book, we were able to make it a lot of fun. I ...

My First Word Bath Book (My First series) 9 reviews DK Publishing
DK Preschool, 1997
Awesome Book! I really love these plastic puffy books because they're soft yet don't get soggy or tear. I bought this book mainly for that reason when my daughter was about 6 months old. Now however, she is 18 months and it is one of her very favorite books. I love that it shows so many different items with the names of each underneath. I think it really helped to improve her vocabulary because she says ...

I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing one of the authors since she was born. Not only is Shannon my sister, she happens to be one of my best friends. My mom, my daughter and I have all had the pleasure of accompanying Shannon on several literary jaunts. With that being said, I will seek to be as impartial as possible. :)

Maisy Takes a Bath (Maisy) 10 reviews
Candlewick, 2000
One of our favorites This is a cute book. Our 3 year old still likes it because we laugh at how silly it is when Maisy's friend comes over to take a bath. Also it is nice and quick when you just don't want to read a long book after a long day.

Baby Einstein: What Floats: Splash & Giggle Bath Book (Baby Einstein) 12 reviews Julie Aigner-clark
Hyperion Book CH, 2003
Cutest bath book Okay, so my son doesn't actually read this in the bath. He's taken to chewing and swallowing chunks off of the board books so we had to make some changes. I particularly like this book because of the material it's made of, its durability, the story and the pictures that I ask my son to point to. I have all of the Baby Einstein bath books; this one is by far the best one. "Water Water ...

Really delightful book! I had never heard of Mrs. Wishy Washy before but saw it on a list of books for purchase from my 3 year old daughter's preschool. We LOVE this book. We've had it about a month now and we read it at least twice per day. And the thing is, I love it too, not just my daughter. The rhymes are great, the pictures are fun and its such a cute story. It's a lot of fun to read out loud. I like this ...

Your Home A Living Canvas: Create Stunning Faux Finishes & Murals with Paint 30 reviews Curtis L Heuser
North Light Books, 2007
Beautiful book and home This is a delilghtful and beautiful book for artists or those of us who appreciate others' talent. Curtis has created a labor of love first in his home and then in his book. I was fortunate enough to tour the finished product and it is truly gorgeous. I'm able to relive the experience by revisiting his book from time to time. This book is a winner on all counts.
