We like it for all the wrong reasons.
My 6-year-old brought this book home from school, and it's a fine learning-to-read book for her. What struck her, though, was the (unintentionally?) hilarious nature of a few of the illustrations. They have to be seen to be appreciated. Call us juvenile, but we laughed until we cried. I'm buying one for home, and more for gifts! Thanks, Biscuit!

Daughter LOVES it

Of all the pirate books out there this is by far the funniest one. Short questions top each page (Do pirates take baths?) and brief but funny explanations follow. Be sure to examine the illustrations-some of the book's funniest moments are wordless. This is a book you and your children will enjoy equally, and will definitly read many times over.

The book only details a start to finish job of a single (albeit fairly complex) kitchen counter. It would be helpful to cover some other methodologies to make it a more diverse compendium. It looks to do a good job of covering many of the pitfalls that a novice like myself may encounter on a first project. Some beautiful pics included of other projects as well.

I had never heard of Mrs. Wishy Washy before but saw it on a list of books for purchase from my 3 year old daughter's preschool. We LOVE this book.
