Love this classic Berenstain book!
This was one of my favorite books as a child, and I bought this to share with my own children to encourage their love of reading. The pictures are captivating and the story has fun and excitement to keep their interest up. My 3 and 5 year old love this book as much as I did and still do!

The vacation of a lifetime! That?s what the Bear Family think they are all in for when they rent the old lighthouse on Rocky Point Island. It may not have electricity, but it does have excitement. Maybe a little too much excitement? That?s what the Bears begin to think when scary, spooky stuff starts happening. Is it the ghosts of sailors whose ships have crashed on the rocks of Rocky Point? Or is there another explanation?

GREAT Book
I bought this book for my 8 month old son. He loves Bear and all the other characters. Being a hard page book, he's able to hold it himself without tearing the pages. The bright colors attract his attention while I'm reading it to him. As he gets older he'll start to understand the concept of Bear's stories and the meaning of them

Cute book, goes a little slowly in places
This is such a cute book! Papa bear decides to take the family on a wilderness vacation that basically, turns out horribly. Everything that could go wrong does, and in the end, the family just decides to go home. They take a few photos which they laugh hysterically at at the end of the book, but the story falls a little flat in this one. It had the potential of being really funny, but instead ...
