Wonderful for children
"The Lord's Prayer" is a great book for children to learn to understand why people pray, how to pray, and what can happen when you pray. The illustrations are nice, eye catching and simple. Not overdone as in most bible stories. The best part of the book is the rhyming verses . . . children take to this so well. Overall, very simple, easy to understand, and extremely fun to read!

The author gives Bible stories a context that is exciting and holds the interest of children. The books are a unique view into the situations that shaped the characters of the Bible. I agreed with the theology of the series, and would recommend these books for your children, definitely worth the money!

Excellent For Teaching Children About The Bible
I LOVE all of these Alice In Bibleland Books. They are wonderful for teaching children about God's word! Each book rhymes and has a lesson to teach. The pictures are really nice for young children too. My daghter has all of these books and will have them for many years to come.

The illustrations in this one are quite good and fit perfectly with the text. The story of creation according the the bible is well told here in a language children can understand and identify with. Highly recommend this one.

The author tells the Bible stories using modern-day twists that our kids can relate to, holding their interest. I understand the author developed this series after years of teaching religious education classes to kids. It's nice that others now can benefit from his efforts.

My daughter's favorite book!
I generally have stayed away from books other than the Bible to explain its stories, but boy has my mind changed. Alice Joyce Davidson does a fantastic job with her depiction of the Story of Jonah. My daughter only 21 months now, decided this was her favorite book about 6 months ago. She always asks for Jonah at reading time. The book has a rythmn to it that she loves and many parts rhyme. ...

A Great Read
Alice is always going on little trips from the Boble. I think that if I was Alice I would always be busy going back in time. A great book for ages 5-1,000,000,000,000! I'm 11 now and I still love these books.
