Bubble Man: Alan Greenspan and the Missing 7 Trillion Dollars7 reviews
Peter Hartcher

W. W. Norton, 2006

Bubble Man: Greenspan and the Missing 7 Trillion Dollars
Great Book! It show how the American people were totally naive on allowing this so called hero of the American Tech Boom and Housing Bubble to be allowed to destroy the American dollar and thus the entire economy. Not only did he create those bubbles he had the audacity in his book to fail to admit that he is the one responsible for what is happening to the dollar today. The man can't address ...

Bubbles a Broad18 reviews
Sarah Strohmeyer

Dutton Adult, 2004

Romantic mysteries with a slice of humor
I think this was my favorite Bubble book so far. This is the fourth book in the series. Bubbles' is a hairdresser/news reporter who finds her way into solving murders. She moves in with Stiletto a Mel Gibson look-a-like and sparks fly. I would buy the whole series and then pass it along to your friends - they will love you! If you enjoy this genre I would also suggest any books from Ellen ...

Structure of the World Compared to a Bubble (Poets, Penguin)
Anne Waldman

Penguin (Non-Classics), 2004

The Stupa of Borobudur in Java is one of the architectural wonders of the world, designed as both a mandala and as an aid for the Buddhist pilgrim that can be read as a holy book. It has inspired Anne Waldman to create a work which is at once a walking meditation, a ?cultural intervention,? a ?recovery? of a sacred site, and a take on contemporary reality and how the busy ?monkey brain? (as it is called in Buddhism) works and travels. ...

The Great American Baseball Card Flipping, Trading and Bubble Gum Book10 reviews
Brendan C. Boyd, Fred C. Harris

Little Brown & Co (T), 1973

I see the boys of summer in their ruin. . .
Each of us occasionally has experiences that are so vivid that they make immediate and permanent imprints upon the memory. For example, I can still remember my excited first day of kindergarten, as well as my first glimpse of Three Rivers stadium, as our family car approached it along the jumbled, congested streets of the North Side. Believe it or not, I can similarly remember my first ...

Bubble Reputation, The3 reviews
Cathie Pelletier

Crown, 1993

Brilliant satire and the best comic/sad writing ever.
Someone needs to wise up and get this book back in print. I had to search all over hell and finally ended up buying it from an online shop. I'm a big Cathie Pelletier fan, but I had missed this one when it came out. What a film this would make! I wish I were like Rosemary in this story. What a woman. And Uncle Bishop is the uncle we all wish we had. I laughed all right, but the sad ...

The Bubble Of American Supremacy: The Costs Of Bush's War In Iraq38 reviews
George Soros

PublicAffairs, 2004

The vision of the Left for America.
Unless you delve into the depth of thinking in the ideas put forth by the Left and thus the Democratic Party;you may not know much about George Soros. Heck, most only know the names of a few prominent people on either side of the political spectrum. The people who run for office are picked for their ability to garnish voter support at Election time;but are not the real ideologists. However; the ...

Bubbles All The Way32 reviews
Sarah Strohmeyer

Onyx, 2006

The series can't end like this???
I think this book illustrated everything we already know about Bubbles and her her chemically enhanced way of thinking. This book was absoltely worth the read. The only concern I have is why another Bubbles book has not been written since this one. I can't imagine readers being happy about the wide open ending!!!

In the waning months of the year 1929, the New York Stock Exchange was going strong. Apples, Bubbles, And Crystals: Your Science ABCs5 reviews
Andrea T. Bennett, James H. Kessler

American Chemical Society, 2004

Great poems and science projects for kindergarten teachers!
I just went to the California Kindergarten Conference and saw this book presented. There is a poem and a science project for each letter of the alphabet. They are simple, hands-on experiments and very affordable for the K-1 teacher.

Bubble Opera5 reviews
Janie Fink

Carrot Press, 2007

Deserves more than five stars!
When I came across Janie Fink's "Bubble Opera," I couldn't believe it. I'm a reader of novels, mostly, but Ms. Fink's poetry spoke to me -- and, more importantly, made me laugh outright. Wow! Poetry that can make you laugh and cry at the same time ... what can be better than that? This collection tells a tale of a life lived with humor in the face of basically everything: from killing a ...
