This is the PERFECT book to use for review/studying for the National test. I would recommend spending time looking up more info on the five element theory and the Chakras other than that there is nothing more needed and the free website was a great help. I passed the first time.!

Great book, very good to pass the exams
I just needed the A+ certification ASAP. I took 220-601 (Essentials) and 220-602 (IT Technician) and the book was a good help. My score was 710 and 800, just good enough to be certified. The sixth edition is updated and covers all I needed to pass.
Also bought the vouchers with practice exams from Meyers and many questions were pretty similar.

These books do a good job of covering the basics of what you need to know for the exams. Keep in mind, they do not contain 100% of the knowledge you need to become certified, but no study guide can. Overall, the books are well written and entertaining and helped me become A+ certified.

Very Helpful Books
The Cisco Exam Certification books by Cisco Press are the only books that I use when studying for the exam. The "Do I know this already" questions help you gauge how much time you need to spend on any given chapter and the practice tests included on the CDs are very similar to test questions. I have yet to fail a test using this method *knocks on wood*.

There are some half-printed pages. I have to guess when I read. The worst thing is that one half-printed page is for a quiz, so I couldn't do the practice quiz.
If I return it, who will pay the postage? and it will take at least 10 days I can get another one. But I need the book urgently.

I passed the test using this book. I did not use any other methods for the preparation. This book explains all of the aspect of the CISSP exam in detail explanations. It took me about 2 months to finish the whole contents. This is the only easy to understand IT book I've ever used.
