A Fan for Life
This is the mainstream style readers love to read and writers love to achieve. No critique needed. I'll just say I'll buy every single book this author writes from now on. Mr. Albom never disappoints. The Five People You Meet in Heaven is genius. Jealousy and professional criticism aside, the readers needs to decide for themselves. I did, and I loved it. Wolfe

Simple yet profound!
I really enjoyed reading "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R Covey. Covey starts with the premise everyone is born with these traits and one has to practice and cultivate them. My favorite chapter is "WIN/WIN". Covey's premise is there are 6 paradigms of humans interaction and that WIN/WIN is not a technique it is a philosophy of human interaction. Relationships can be ...

Depressingly satisfying
I was recommended this book while in a Barnes and Noble. I could hug the woman whom advised me to buy it. It was terrificly written and completely drew me in. It was highly depressing with all the events Dolores Price had been through, but still I'd recommend this novel to anyone - not just females.

Non linear chronology a bit frustrating, but it works
Written in a non-linear sequence of events, this book truly frustrated me. After the first read, I understood it (as we were suppose to) and if I were inclined to, I would read it a second time and go "oooh." I give it four stars mainly because of my personal taste about non-linear chronology, and I didn't see what it had to do with my class (Understanding Religious Traditions in Multicultural ...

Great Read!
This book was good. If you love chocolate, you'll love this book. We liked the characters, especially Charlie. Boy or girl, you'll love this book. If you don't buy it, you're crazy. After you finish it, try Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. It has a lot of suspense. Roald Dahl puts a lot of description in his writing.

Mystical Meditation at a Tiny Price!
Now, this is cool! If you are an adult enjoying coloring books to reduce stress, you couldn't pick one any better than this one! You might even want to get a second one, because the pictures are on both sides of the page. They are so nice that you might be tempted to cut them out and hang them on the wall.

Elitist Criticism Aside, It's Genius
Loathed by elitist literary critics, wannabe highbrows and religious conservatives, The Da Vinci Code is by any measure a work of genius. To dismiss it as pop drivel is to overlook the fact that countless writers are striving to produce catchy pulp fiction that will propel them to stardom and riches - and few succeed. The book is riveting, fascinating, thought-provoking, surprising and a ...

I feel great
If your goal is to read a book that will provide you with peer reviewed articles cited, scientific studies referred to, etc. before you try the diet then you should save your money because you will not find these things here. If all you do is read the book, and you want hard science, look elsewhere. BUT, if you are willing to experiment with your diet based on anecdotal evidence only because ...

A Beautiful Story
What amazed me about this book was the way the story was told. It's kind of a courtroom drama, kind of a romance, and very much a commentary on the state of a torn and divided nation after World War II. On the North end of Puget Sound there was a murder and the accused, Kabuo Miyamoto is a friend turned enemy of Carl Heine, now deceased. The way it's told is the magic, as I alluded to ...

A very kid-friendly cookbook!
We have had this cookbook for about a year and have used it quite a bit when planning weekly menus. The recipes don't have too many ingredients and they are very kid-friendly. My son is 9 years-old and he loves to make the double chocolate chip cookies. We like everything we have cooked from this book, and it is good when you are trying to increase the number of items a fussy eater will ...

Fantastic!
I love way Joanne Harris paints her books - you can smell, taste, hear, see what the characters do. It's so atmospheric, "try me, taste me". The 3 different points of view that this book shares with it's readers gives such a full description of what's going on - and how the characters feel about it. It is a darker, richer confection than Chocolat - for a more grownup taste. I highly recommend ...

GREAT READ
This is a great story of tragedy. I found it an easy read and couldn't put it down. I finished it very fast because the writer keeps the story moving. Very good writing as the characters are strong and easy to imagine. Highly recommended.

Another Great Book!
I really loved this book. Not only did it have the return of the series' best psycho (so far), but it also featured another memorable psycho, Mr. Smith. The ending is so twisted and unbelievable. A Series That Gets Better & Better
I say this every time a new book comes out in this series, but this is the best one yet. Skye is a wonderful character, and I felt like I got to know Skye a lot better in this latest book. I was especially pleased that she has a spiritual side. And would'nt these books would make for a terrific TV mystery series on the Family or Hallmark channels?

SUCCULENT: CHOCOLATE FLAVA II, the Eroticanoir.com anthology, is more vintage Zane-esque erotica and you know what that means. Hotter than hot stories, unique storylines and undeniable entertainment. Stories like Curiosity Stirred My Cat, which features a curious love triangle, and Emma's Triangle, which puts yet another sultry spin on love triangles, had me turning the pages and fanning myself. ...

The First Serious Book for Chocolatiers
This book is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I am getting into the chocolate business and have a recent certificate in chocolate making. Of all of the books I have read on chocolate making, this one has the best lay out and photographs. The how to sections are easily read for the amateur but very comprehensive for those wishing to read further.
