The idea behind CC301 are the 301 basic conversational sentences, which are (as the authors intended) pretty quick to learn. A good textbook for ones who wants to study Spanish from zero level at home. Perfect for the beginners but not very deep. You may need an additional textbook to learn grammar. Read it Twice before you rate the book
At first I thought "What the hell did I pay for?" As I quickly read through this book I felt I was "taken". I was about to post a very negative review but decided to read it again. On my second reading I took the time to actually stop to study the phrases, look at and learn the importance of where and what word is emphasized as well as other valuable information. It is an amazing little book.

I found this book complimented my other books well in learning Tagalog. There are many gramatical explinations and good vocabulary builders. The focus is not pure memorization but to develop your skills in the language and understand how it works. The text is probably better for a more structured learning environment. It is not geared towards the "Teach yourself" learner.

Just what I wanted
This cd was just what I wanted- a stand alone audio course I could listen to while commuting. There is a nice pace to new material mixed in with the old so you don't forget. My only criticism would be I would like shorter tracks for easy repeats when I miss something(or maybe my cd is too old).This is a nice starter to try it out, and they'll give you a discount on the next portion.

Excellent for a language beginner
Pimsleur's products are excellent. The CDs provide the very thorough repetition and drill necessary to begin building real converstional/listening skills.
