I'm generally out of the house for 12 hours each day between work and my commute, and this is a life saver cookbook! There are tons of yummy recipes that don't require much prep work, and then you have a great meal when you get home! Note--you may have to cut the recipes down because they're made for large crockpots. Learned this after my first try!

This is a terrific crockpot cookbook IMHO! I've tried about 7 recipes from it (mostly full meals and 1 of the turkey 3 bean chili) and they were all a HUGE hit! The "best BBQ ribs" recipe is seriously restaurant-quality! If you are a crockpot fan, this book is a must for your library...worth every penny!

Great Book for Cooking Novices
I'm not a great cook, and that's why I love my slow cooker. It doesn't require a great chef to make edible food. But, the only recipes for my slow cooker that I could find involved pouring Campbells Cream Soup over meat, and I was getting sick of it. This cookbook offers a wide variety of simple recipes, and so far they are delicious. I think I'll be ordering the Hildebrand's other cookbooks too!
