The Best of Cooking Light: Over 500 of our all time greatest recipes (Cooking Light) 27 reviews Cooking Light Magazine
Oxmoor House, 2005
A permanent addition to my kitchen! I have made 4-5 recipies from this book and each has turned out great. They are suprisingly easy and do not taste bland, like so many other light recipies I have enountered. Be sure to try the artichoke, lemon and goat cheese stuffed chicken and the garlic fries. The wasabi tuna and shiitake port mushroom steaks were also good. Probably one of the best cookbooks I have!

Cooking Light Weeknight (Cooking Light) 6 reviews
Oxmoor House, 2007
My favorite cookbook yet! I have a million cookbooks, and am a food network addict. This is by far the best cookbook. It has pics to go with every recipe as well. There aren't a huge amount of recipes, but what they have is all delicious. I don't think theyre extremely FAST to make though. Some still have a lot of prep work. But that's fine for me.... I make some of these recipes when I have company and it's always a huge ...

Really helps keeep thing organized and since I usually will find myself misplacing an issue or two during the year, it makes sure I have my favorite recipe around when I want it.

One of my Favorite Cookbooks for Cooking Light!! I have several cookbooks and used colorful stickers to highlight recipes that I have tried and love. Needless to say, I am using a lot of stickers for this cookbook! Here is a small list of recipes I've tried and really liked: Pumpkin Dip, Sour Cream Coffee Cake, Blueberry Pancakes, Buttermilk Cornbread, Crisp Crusted Catfish and Potato Gratin with Goat Cheese and Garlic just to name a few. I ...

GREAT Cookbook! I LOVE this cookbook!!!!! It was a Christmas gift and ever since we've been having great dinners nearly every night. I don't even want to go out anymore. This book contains easy to make meals in under 30 minutes (with the exception of the chapter on crockpot cooking). What I love about this one is that it plans the entire menu for you, and gives you steps to follow to prepare 2-3 recipes at once. ...

Cooking Light Slow Cooker (Cooking Light) 21 reviews

Yummy but Non-Complicated Recipes w. Ingredients in your Pantry I recently bought a new crockpot with the thought of fixing meals that would be ready when I returned home from work. I was delighted to find this cookbook, which I hoped would combine convenience with lighter, healthier meals than you typically find with traditional crock-pot recipes.
So far, I've tried a few recipes which have been delicious. However, my hopes of stuffing the crockpot ...

Includes some great quick options I agree with other reviewers that the organization can be frustrating, but I still think this is an excellent cookbook. It includes a range of recipes from the complex to the relatively simple. This particular edition of the Cooking Light series includes a segment on how to help a family organize their kitchen and make some quick weeknight meals. Personally, I am particularly a fan of the ...

Awesome recipes! The recipes are easy and delicious. It has quick and "Super-Quick" recipes. Color photos are provided for many of the dishes, and the layout of the entire book is terrific. Nutritional info and Diabetic food exchanges are provided for every recipe. My only critiques are: while the recipes are easy many have a long list of ingredients yet the prep time for most recipes is 25 min. or less. Seeing ...

Best Cooking Light so far I'm not a person that you will find very often in the kitchen, but when I am, I really enjoy it. I have several books from the Cooking Light series, and this is, for me, the best so far. The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures make you want to cook every single recipe in the book. Great choice for a person not so used to being in the kitchen as well as for the more advanced cook. And the ...

another great compliation from a great magazine Cooking Light is fantastic as always- this includes all the year's recipes as well as a few of the articles that appeared in the magazines.
The only potential complaint is that the index isn't very user friendly. There is a by-month index as well as a general recipe index, but if you don't know the name of the recipie I've found it to be a challenge to find what you are looking for!

Full of good, practical recipies I own a lot of cookbooks... but I've never had one quite like this. This is the first cookbook where I look through the recipies, and think "Hey - I should make that some time" for most of the recipies. Other cookbooks seem to be literally filled with recipies that either don't look any good, or require exotic ingredients only availble to people in major metropolitan centers. With this ...

Light, Easy, and TASTY meals! A cookbook for food-lovers This is one of my favorite healthy-eating cookbooks. There are big glossy color photos at least every other page, which are mouth-watering and inspiring. There are a wide variety of foods covered in this cookbook, from meat to fish, chicken, pork, pasta and grains, and EVERY recipe incorporates a fruit of veggie into your diet.
