Handy workbook
I ordered this book a few weeks ago and took it for a test run the other day when I had my first consultation for breast augmentation. The book did exactly what it promises to. It helped keep the consultation focused. It supplied the questions for me to ask and helped me to feel empowered. I definitely recommend this book.

Extremely useful reference
I got Paula's 2003 edition in 2006, but was sorry that it was rather outdated and in that edition she said she wouldn't be doing another one. So I was happily surprised to find a brand new edition in Barnes & Noble, and after perusing it I plan to order it from Amazon. A few comments: Some reviewers claim Paula gives negative reviews to most product so she can push her own line. I don't agree ...

Learn to Be a Cosmetic Surgeon the Easy Way -
I first came across this book while browsing in a book store, and decided that I had to own it. Since much of my photography centers around people and portraits, this book really concentrates on the many things that you can do to to enhance (or, for some fun do the opposite to) these photos. The explanations are clear and the illustrations make the steps easy to follow. I definitely recommend ...

A very good brief review of skin physiology, function, components, structures and layers along with product penetration and testing and skin types and conditions enhance the book. Great for newbies ...

I liked this book because it explained in detail, the proper use of ingredients. Required reading for the cosmetic chemist!
This book should be required reading for anyone involved in the scientific side of the cosmetics industry. I would've loved to have had this book when I first started out, and it certainly helped to fill in the gaps that I didn't have in my training as a cosmetic chemist. This book is very easy to read and the study guide is a helpful tool as well.

If Only I'd read `The Secrets of a Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgeon' Prior to Surgery
I wish I'd read Dr. Kotler's book prior to having surgery. If I'd known half the important information in this book, I would have been better informed, researched differently, chosen a more appropriate doctor, and, ultimately, avoided the poor cosmetic surgery I received. Dr. Kotler's book describes how to make the necessary choices when considering cosmetic surgery. His book steps the ...

I think this book was pretty thorough when it comes to plastic surgery. The pictures are helpful too. I think it needed a bit more information on dermatological services that can be obtained instead of or in addition to the surgery.
