Thomas the Tank Engine Counts to Ten (Thomas the Tank Engine) 3 reviews W. Awdry, Wilbert Vere Awdry, ...
Random House Books for Young Readers, 1997
Thomas the Tank Engine Counts to Ten Of all the board books in the toddler Thomas the Tank Engine series, this is my 3-year-old's favorite! The illustrations are so colorful, and the engines and people so expressive, that learning to counting is alot of fun. Your child can count engines, people, and objects associated with a train station. Just the right size for little hands, durable, and priced right for parents who want ...

Two Ways to Count to Ten 4 reviews Ruby Dee
Demco Media, 1990
A multi-cultural math tale I have used this book to teach mathematic lessons to grades one through three. It serves as a great springboard for discussion on factors, prime numbers and patterns. The pictures are delightful and the children love to make predictions on just who will make the King happy. My students choose to return to this book over and over again.

Spot Counts from One to Ten 1 review Eric Hill
Heinemann Young Books, 1989
Spot Counts from 1 to 10 In general, I like buying the "Spot" books because my daughter loves dogs. She enjoyed this particular book, especially since she recognized most of the animals illustrated (cows, horses, ducks) with Spot. The size of this book is perfect for little hands to handle, so she tends to pick it up more often than some of her other books.

Ten Little Ladybugs 98 reviews Melanie Gerth
Piggy Toes Press, 2001
Sturdy and Engaging with a Fun Twist Review by Sherry North, Author, Because You Are My Baby
This is a wonderfully designed book. The touchable ladybugs make it engaging for toddlers, while preschoolers will appreciate the clever story. At first it seems like the book has a dark side - with various creatures gobbling up the ladybugs - but the sweet twist ending shows all the ladybugs are safe after all.
I have two ...

Excellent This is yet another excellent book from Karen Rose that you won't be able to put down until you finish it, and will leave you wanting to know more about Mia, Reed and the rest of the supporting cast. It has it all -- suspense, romance and a good bit of mystery. A top-notch read.
One thing I love about Karen Rose's books is that she creates characters that you care about and want to keep ...

Turtleback Books Distributed by Demco Media, 1999
Wonderful and Educational! My children love this book! They are excited about learning the different languages and ask for things using the numbers they have learned. Evans has done a great job with the difficult pronunciations and Roche's illustrations are fun.

Count to Ten, PiggyWiggy 2 reviews Diane Fox, Christyan Fox
Handprint Books, 2002
Piggy Wiggy does it again My son and I are big Piggy Wiggy fans-the illustrations are adorable, and the stories cute! This one is great for the very young-my son already looks at all the pictures at only six weeks. The colors really stand out and the story gets the point across. Not the best Piggy Wiggy book story-wise, but probably the one my son likes the best at this point. Can't wait for the next one!
