Great Fun
As usual, The Divine Circle is full of twists, turns, laughs and fun. This series of books was introduced to me by a friend, and I love them. Finally, friends who treat each other with respect, loyalty and life long contributions who enjoy the path they are given. The books plot is fresh and unusual, which adds to Ms Riccio's outstanding writing. I for one, can't wait for more.

Excellent story line
I recently read "The Courting of Marcus Dupree" and found it to be exciting and spell binding. My entire family was caught up in it. The book is an excellent tale of the birth of a young Black male in a troubling time for the South. The way Willie Morris related Marcus' birth and powerful strength to the struggle of his town and state was awesome, he should be the Mayor of Philadelphia or the ...

ANOTHER ONE WE NEED TO KEEP AROUND
Frog Went A-Courtin' by John Langstaff and illustrated by Feodor Rojankovsky was an all time favorite with my children and by the reaction when I read (or sing) it to the children of today, it still is. This is quite a unique book which tells the old, old story of Froggy and his courtship with Miss Mousy. As the author of this work has stated in his forward, this song, or story, was first ...

ELEGANT EQUALITY
Lavish in prose and photography, COURTING EQUALITY presents the struggle to equal rights in marriage by Massachusetts' gay and lesbian community. Beyond the obvious, and above the gloss of Marilyn Humphries' stunning photo journal, Patricia A. Gozemba and Karen Kahn offer the reader a journey through worldwide discrimination which bends a bit as same sex couples arrive on the page grasping that ...

One of the best books on the Israeli Palestinian Conflict
Despite the subtitle this is not just another book about the military courts. It is one of the best books that I have read not only about these courts but about the larger conflict between Israel and Palestine. It is written with academic distance and a personal commitment for justice. It should be read by all those seeking to understand how the Israeli occupation used law to achieve results that ...

Lay down the law
I was immediately drawn to these characters and to the dilemmas they face. As a parent, I know my kids may or may not turn out the way I expect-for better or worse-and I look forward to accompanying these characters and they face their unique challenges to their political and personal beliefs. The dialogue is witty and intelligent and the voice fresh. The author promises a unique perspective ...

How we came to be a dating nation
This is a really in-depth and interesting study into the sexual and moral changes that occured in the United States during the first 50 years of the 20th century. I was taken with the level of scholarship, clear exposition, and insightful connections that the author brings to the whole subject of how gender/sexual roles evolved during this period. Although it is an academic book, it is ...

What an Ending!!
The way to tell if a book is REALLY a thriller is if you are kept in suspense and you can't figure out the ending before you get there. This book does both. You do not know what to expect, and you will be suprised at the end. You will not want to put this book down!
