Miguel Covarrubias is a major caricaturist and painter who is long overdue for an appreciation in El Norte. This book details his 'circle', which included Kahlo and Rivera and the photographer Nickolas Muray. Their activities and art were well documented. This book was so much fun to read! Covarrubias (and his wife Rosa) led the most fascinating lives.
