Goto is a breath of fresh air in 40K
WH40K can sometimes get tired and a little dull after reading more than a couple of books. Many of the BL authors seem to represent similar stories in the same way, so it is very refreshing to read Goto's interpretation of the 40K universe. He writes fantastically, and is by far the most readable of the BL authors. Warrior Coven is amazing. It provides multiple viewpoints for the narrative, ...

the best book ever!!!!
Stake That is an awesome book filled with mysterious vampires, vampire hotties, and twin girls that are as different as night and day. What more could you ask for. I found that I liked Rayne being the narrator better than Sunny. I just agree more with the way that Rayne views the world and her situations. I also enjoy the fact that she's not only a vampire, but she's also a vampire slayer, with a ...

Be careful what you wish for
A mysterious little man with curiously snake-like eyes comes to town. His boast is that he can give you anything - anything - that you wish for. Four villagers take him up on his offer, but he leaves them with a warning: "Take great care when you wish. For it will be granted exactly as you ask for it." One by one, each of the townspeople use their wishes. One by one their wishes go haywire. ...

Winter's Daughter- A Joyfully Recommended Title
Synamon Angelov lost everything in her life the night her mother died and her sisters were separated from her. Hurt by the very people who should have helped the girls, Syn is grown up and back in the town that turned its back on her and her family. Syn has questions about that night and she is going to make sure they are answered. It just might help that she looks like her mother and that magic ...

Beautiful book, but buy it from Subterranean Press direct
This is a fanatastic collection of vampire fiction from the esteemed Mr. Lumley and another beautiful production from Subterranean Press. It is a must buy for fans of great vampire fiction. My only suggestion is to pay a few dollars more and order it direct from Subterranean Press in order to get the bonus chapbook with MORE Lumley vampire fiction. It's one of the highest quality chapbooks ...

A Very Good Rede!
After reading some of the reviews, I was prepared to be a bit disappointed. I wasn't. The author took a personalist, non-dogmatic, and eclectic look at the Wicca of his experience, and presented it in a very down-to-earth manner. This volume served as an introduction for me, so I can see how those more advanced readers in Wicca might want to go elsewhere. They would miss out on the author's ...

There's Always More to Learn
I thought I had learned a lot about sabbats over the years but this book proves that there is always more to explore. There's plenty of food for thought about ritual itself. This book is beautifully written and I shall enjoy using these words in my rituals for a long time to come.

WITCHES HOW WE WANT TO SEE THEM!
If you're a practicing Wiccan, you'd be best advised to stay away from the Coven Gallery Girls series. The second of three books in the series, Coven 2 does everything it can to reinforce the traditional image of the witch pointy fat, black cat familiars, and riding broomsticks...and naked to boot! The Coven volume 2 provides another 64 pages of pinup quality drawings of sexy, naughty witches ...

Perfect for any coven member
This book is the best out there for anyone wishing to join or create a coven. I highly recommend it! I couldn't have started my group without it. You don't even really need to know anything about paganism, wicca, or magick to understand this book, and I really like that about this book though I do not care for the author.

Edward Lee

My favorite Lee novel
Of all of Lee's many fine horror novels, Coven is far and away my favorite. It is gruesome, horrifying, demented, perverse, and, very often, hysterically funny. As another reviewer indicated, the cover of the old mass-market edition is quite misleading and not indicative of what awaits the reader. Scenes of depravity are written with gleeful gusto. This is gonzo horror writing, sort of a mad ...

BUY THIS BOOK
While An Irish Book of Shadows deals mainly with the Wiccan path followed by Ms. Clark's group the TDD, it would make a handy reference for anyone interested in following the Wiccan path, be they alone or part of an established or fledgling group. The book is a working tool and thorough reference. Rituals for sabats, esbats and rites of passage are provided with easy to follow instructions as ...

THE EROTIC ART OF WITCHES
Coven 3 is the latest in SQPs series of erotic images of witches penciled by some of the finest talents in the business. On tap for this third volume are artists such as Pelaez. John Bosco, Arantza, Diego Candia, David Pugliese, German Ponce, and many more. The drawings are rendered primarily in pencils and pen and ink. We start with a fabulously erotic cover by Pelaez featuring a beautiful ...

Brilliant On Every Level
Starring the most lovable young curmudgeon in comic book history, Courtney Crumrin, "Coven Of Mystics" is one of the most enderaing, laugh-out loud hilarious, tragic, bittersweet, imaginative and triumphant books I've ever read, comic book or prose, fiction or non-fiction. It's also one of the scariest, with the Rawhead 'N Bloody Bones bog monster more frightening than most of the nasties ...

organic, wholistic cosmic pantheism - wow!
I believe Esra Free's "Wicca 404: Advanced Goddess Thealogy" is an important book in the evolution of Wicca. To the extent that other reviewers have labeled it "not orthodox," I can only agree, and pray to the Goddess that Wiccan orthodoxy catches up soon to Ms. Free's stunning cosmic vision of what Wicca clearly is to her, and what it could be for us all. "Wicca 404" is Goddess religion elevated ...
Faust

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust is a tragic play. Faust is a closet drama, meaning that it is meant to be read rather than performed. It is Goethe's most famous work and considered by many to be one of the greatest works of German literature.

Tevi is the oldest daughter of Red, who in turn is the daughter of the Queen of Storenseg. In this matrilineal society, the women are the warriors and the men are small, weak, and serve in roles as housekeepers, babysitters, and servants. Tevi does not belong. She is awkward-not good with a sword or any type of weapon-and the leaders of Storenseg do not believe she possesses any useful leadership ...

A True Classic
For most of the past four decades, Paul Huson's seminal work "Mastering Witchcraft" has remained in print. That alone should be a testament to its worth on the subject of witchcraft. An early reviewer in the 1970s called it a "genuine vade mecum" (do it yourself guide). The reviewer? Catholic Weekly. From the opening pages to the resources and bibliography, this book contains much to set your ...
