WHAT CAN I SAY?
This is a powerful story! The characters are well defined, the story flows well and the sexual tension was certainly all there just like it should be in a romance. I loved every minute of this book. I think Elaine did a great job with Mandy's emotional state after her leg is amputated. It certainly takes a very strong person to come back after an accident like that and Elaine got it ALL right!

Terrific early reader book!
What a fun book. The rhymes catch you up and the graphics are very appealing. My kindergartner loves to practice her reading with it. Completely worth the money spent, particularly if you have an early reader or a toddler that just likes cows, cowboys, and cowgirls. Very sweet book.

What a great comic strip this was! It always gave me quite a chuckle, and still does through the books, Suburban Cowgirls (the book), and A Fistful of Credit Cards (the book). Guess the two creators of this strip had bigger fish to fry. It was certainly great while it lasted. I ordered these books used and gave them as Christmas presents.

Made me hungry
Good books are good because they have a rhythm, a flow, that connects parts. That is no easy chore in a recipe book, but Ms. Stanford's side bars and personal comments create that flow. I cannot cook, but I have read the book with pleasure, and it made me hungry. I am going ask my grandchildren to fix me stuff. The photos and Western connection certainly added to pleasure of reading.
