Creating Vintage Cards4 reviews
Jill Haglund

TweetyJill Publications, Inc., 2005

Great book!
I was so happy to get a book that I have no regrets about buying. This book isn't just inspirational eye candy, although it is that too. Unlike so many other collage and craft books, this one includes clear instructions for doing the projects and a good resource list. I bought her other book, Artists Creating with Photos, and it's excellent also.

Papier-Mache Treasures with Teena Flanner: Creating Your Own Vintage-Style Collectibles5 reviews
Teena Flanner

Lark Books (NC), 2007

Inspiring!
If you are creative and resourceful, this book is a guide AND an inspiration. There are a handful of projects that don't call for a mold, including her ever-popular snowmen. The rest? Sure, you need molds, but I saw three last weekend while antiquing and one was only $6 (and it was a lamb, too!). They don't have to be old, just a mold you like! Really, NOT HARD TO FIND. This book gave me ...

Full of great ideas and clear instructions
Usually I buy these types of books and page through them - loving the pictures, but never thinking it is something I could actually do. With this book I immediately went and purchased some materials and sat down and tried some of the simpler ideas. I love how the author took the time to make clear step-by-step instructions and included a LOT of pictures for the steps. There are projects that ...

Chic yet fun
As a graduate design student, I am impressed with the quality of the rooms shown in this book. Very chic yet simple. Unlike some books on this topic, this one is filled with smart, chic, sensible, stylish ideas for how to repurpose flea market finds. There's nothing junky or throwaway about the ideas in this book.

Love this Creative Expoloration of Resin!
Ever since I saw my first superchunky, gorgeous colored resin bangle, available for sale at an online store back in the early 2000's, I have been intrigued by the mystique of always different resin jewelry. Yes I kick myself to this day that I never bought that bangle! Now I spot brilliant fabulous clear resin jewlery, with pretty silver embellishments, and inlaid semiprecious stones, for ...
