The Protector (Crossfire Series, Book 1)21 reviews
Gennita Low

Avon, 2005

Good but Not as Good as The Ohers!
Of all four books this was the only one I wasn't as crazy over. Jazz fell for ViVi so fast I couldn't beleive it as at first I thought she was considered just ordinary. Have to admit though those SEALS were all nice guys. Couldn't help but love em all. I would recommend all the books in the series and hope she continues to add to them.

An In-Depth Look
Stevie Ray Vaugahn: Caught in the Crossfire is a very insightful, informative look into the life and career of Stevie Ray Vaughan. This book concerns itself with details while remaining flattering to the fans of Stevie Ray without boring the casual reader. A great book that I have purchased on two different occasions and read more times than I can remember. A highly recommended purchase for ...

Crossfire Trail7 reviews
Louis L'Amour

Bantam, 1985

SUBTLY DIFFERENT FROM SELLECK'S MOVIE OFFERING
When it comes to reading Louis L'Amour the modern western fan is faced with having to take things in context. Remember that L'Amour's works were primarily written in the fifties and sixties and, as a result, have a certain "dignity" about them that no longer applies with the westerns of today, especially those on the big screen. Take CROSSFIRE TRAIL for example. There is plenty of action here ...

CrossFire: A Novel21 reviews
Jeanette Windle

Kregel Publications, 2000

Can't wait to read more by Windle!
I've never written a review before but this book deserves it! From page one I was engrossed in this fascinating story that's also educational about a little-known but serious drug war in Latin America. I found myself sympothizing with the characters and dreaded this adventure in reading coming to an end. Unlike any other work of fiction I've read, I found myself caring enough to pray for the ...

She is considered to be Japan's number one mystery writer. CROSSFIRE merges the mystery world and more than a bit of the supernatural. Miyabe's heroine, Chikako Ishizu, a veteran police woman who ...

Flying Colours: The Jethro Tull Reference Manual10 reviews
Greg Russo

CrossFire Pub., 2000

Surprisingly Good
I was surprised that a writer that first wrote books about Manfred Mann, the Yardbirds, Frank Zappa and the Zombies would give Tull such a fair and in depth treatment. I thought this book was better that David Rees "Minstrels in the Gallery" book. There are a lot of photos, some I've never seen before, which is saying a lot from this long time fan of the band. Unfortunately all the photos on the ...
