Fun and educational
My nine-year-old loved the earlier books in the Sir Cumference series, and was excited to hear that a new one was available. He enjoyed it thoroughly, for both the story and the math content. This series of books ranks near the top of his favorites list.

I purchased the whole set for homeschooling purposes and it really drives home the concepts in a fun way with the kids not realizing they are learning geometry. This is as fun as Cyberchase in a book format. Highly recommend these!

Great Way Of Sneaking In Math!
My daughter has always had a problem learning Math but reading this book (along with the others in this series) has helped her immensely! The books themselves are a bit young for her but the concepts in them (Pi, Geometry, etc) are explained in a way I think she needed. I would recommend these to anyone who has a child with problems in math concepts.

A great learning tool
I used this book to introduce the concept of angles to my class. They loved every bit of listening to this book and have kept the ideas of "mountains of obtuse" and "cute quaint" town when identifying angles.

A wonderful way to remember pi
I feel the age range given on the website should not be ages 4-8. This is appropriate for 8 and up. That said, my 5 year old enjoys it as just a fairy tale and I would not attempt any "teaching" to him. He listens as I read it to my older daughters and maybe it will seep in so when he's old enough to begin measuring, he will easily grasp the concepts. This is a wonderful book - good ...
