This one Rocks... er... Wrox!!
Bill, Scott, and Devin really did a great job pulling together key topics in ASP.NET 3.5. This book is huge... weighting in at 1,584 pages not counting the online resources and index. It basically covers everything any developer would want to brush up on or learn completely from scratch. I was only looking to learn about caching for scaling issues( and it was a great chapter 23), but I learned ...

Awesome!
My wife and I have were already fans of Devin Alexander's work - we had purchased the Biggest Loser cookbook about a year ago. In trying to eat better, I still have cravings for "cheat days." The recipes in Fast Food Fix totally fit the bill when I want something similar to Taco Bell or a serious burger - but they cut out a ton of fat and calories and taste JUST AS GOOD. Anyone out west who is ...

Great book!
This book has amazing full-page illustrations on every page for every letter of the alphabet. Each letter of the alphabet has a little poem to explain various military terms. Then, the sidebar for each letter contains additional information. For example the letter "A" page: the main text reads, "Give me an A for Army, and an A for Air Force, too. An A for all the Armed Services behind the ...

Finally!!
The information in this book is priceless to me. I have gone to many doctors to treat the myriad of symtoms that come with FMS, it has been extremely frustrating. Most physicians have the opinion that it is "just in your head", or even say they are "overwhelmed" with the list of issues. This book identifies and breaks down all of this information in an easy to follow format (alot of medical ...

I purchased this cookbook after reading a review from another cookbook I had purchased before, I didn't like that cookbook and when I read the review someone else wrote about it they suggested this cookbook. I figured what the heck let me try it. Needless to say, the recipes come wonderful. Sometime's I want to question if this really is good for me. Devin Alexander did a great job on ...

The gripping conclusion
This is a fitting conclusion to one of the best stories I've seen. Gotham destroyed in an earthquake, cut off from the rest of the world (no one in, no one out), fought over by various gangs, led by the police, super villains and the Batman himself. The series has been loaded with drama, suspense, action, great art--all in all you have to love it.

One of the Best Batman Tales
To me, No man's Land is a little less than entrancing. I was hooked from Volume One to Five. To incumpus all the great Batman villains and heroes in one series with such importance, and will testing moments is truly epic. A definant must read for any Batman fan or even any comic fan.

T - A Treasure Trove of Trivia, for Tykes and (pre)-Teens
I really like this book. It's been in my 5-year-old's collection for about 2 years now, and it still get pulled down and read every few weeks. Devin Scillian has done a fantastic job of using events and facts from just about every imaginable facet of American life, both well-known and obscure. For example, the book mentions the YMCA, Harriet Tubman, "The Twilight Zone", Kellogg's Rice Krispies, ...

A Journey through the Eyes of an EMT
Devin Kerin's is very creative at describing various entities within the emergency services sector. There are several of sections where it made me laugh, and there was other sections that made me go "oh really?". I have been thoroughly interested in the emergency services for years, and Devin's art at writing this book, has made me interested in the servicies even more. If you want to read a book ...

Beware. If you ever receive an envelope from Ra's al Ghul, do not open it. Unfortunately for Batman, it is already too late. Ra's once again uses his private knowledge of Batman's residence to open up a virtual Pandora's Box of mayhem for him, all with the goal of enticing him to provide the means for his return. He can certainly write an intriguing and especially foreboding letter, and from the ...

I was never initially a Batman fan and have always been skeptical of the overall basis of his becoming, but seeing a volume with the entire batfamily gave me the impression that it might actually be a worth reading. This book made a huge difference
Dr. Starlanyl was way ahead of her time when she wrote this book. I actually read this in 2006 after 4 months of extremely painful and useless chiropractic "treatments." Frustrated and in severe pain, I picked up this book and learned a few things I didn't already know. The main one being the difference between Myofascial Pain Syndrome and Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Trigger point therapy (TPT) is ...

A Professional Level Book in Every Way
This is a monumental book. Almost sixteen hundred pages of hi-tech stuff. It is not for the faint of heart. It is intended for people who have at least a general understanding of how the web works with particular attention as to how a database driven web site is set up and works. Knowledge and experience with earlier versions of ASP (Active Server Pages) would be very helpful, but so would ...
