I used the techniques from one chapter to quickly recover from a fall on concrete, where I hit my head, and a personal sorrow. An inspiration to us all. And a joy to read.
Although certainly not a novel large enough to be a door stop, "For the Love of God" was an enjoyable story that is uplifting. Seen through the eyes of a Catholic Priest having a crisis of faith, the story shows us that there is a way to be saved. Although I've been left in mystery as to exactly how that was done.

Great book
I read this book when I was 17 and it made so much sense to me even though it was quite "hard" reading for me at the time. I re-read it recently and I got such a lot more out of it. It's not light reading, quite technical, but wow, it really shines a light on what makes people tick.
This book gives you the straight information on what Dianetics is REALLY all about.
