Living with Ease
This is a perfect book to have on your coffee table or at your bedside. Reading any of Richard Carlson's 2 page chapters a day is wonderful support in having a great life. This book has helped me feel at ease in myself. For example - the chapter "Cut Your Some Slack," reminds me "Life is a process - just one thing after another. When you lose it just start over again" - I love this! It's ...

a "must read" for all who want to stay married
First given to me by my Best Man, I've since given copies or recommended this book to many friends and relatives, including my wife. With about 35 years of marriage under my belt, "Small Stuff" provides a great refresher course to concentrate on what really matters. Written in many (90-100?) two or three page chapters, it is a book that is convenient to read one-chapter-at-a-time, which also ...

Short and Superb!
This book has very short chapters. What this does is allows you to quickly get a thought-provoking and helpful "shot in the arm" almost anywhere. I find it a great book to keep in the car for reading during commutes when I am a passenger or even if stuck in traffic. Sure, some of the stuff is common sense but the way Carlson puts it - it really makes you think and makes it real. Definitely ...

A Combination of Motivational and Practical Advice
Much of the stress we experience comes not from the workplace but from our reactions to our workplace. Most of Carlson's little book focuses on how we need to change our attitudes in order to minimize stress. For instance, work should be seen as something that we get to do rather than something that we have to do. Enjoy life now--don't wait for retirement! Problems should be seen as speed ...

Must Have For The Stressed Out
I love the little bits of wisdom in this book. You can pick it up at any time, turn to any place in the book, and read a short page or two that will remind you that you have no reason to be stressed out! I sat and read through it all in a day and then used it to pick up and read as a daily reminder. I bought it years ago & still don't sweat the small stuff!

Outstanding
I always read books I get for my daughter first to confirm that I got her something right/good for her. This one is no doubt a winner. The titles of each chapter were catching enough to make you curious as to what you were about to read and then the story you read were a great explanation to the sometimes funny and odd titles. The story in each chapter was absolutely great. They were short ...
