Mystery Fold: Stories to Tell, Draw, and Fold1 review
Valerie Marsh, Patrick K. Luzadder

Upstart Books, 1993

My children love it!
This book is very special: you draw, fold and tell. There are mystery-fold variations: fold together ("folding the side together"), single fold ("fold over a section of the lower or upper part"), double fold ("folding the edges of the paper to meet in the middle") and other folds. My children were fond of "Grandma''s house", "Shut de door", "Birthday party". The others stories are: "The unhappy ...

Frog's Riddle: And other Draw And Tell stories2 reviews

Annick Press, 1990

The best book on draw and tell
This book are 12 stories. A part can be drawn on blackboard (7). I'm found of "the ghost on Pedersen's farm", a story about ghosts! Before each story the author has drawn the drawing completely, showing with arrows the meaning of each part of final drawing. You will find in this book a story under the sign of st Valentine ("Claudette's valentines"), a story about mutual aid ("Tiki and Buko"), a ...

Draw And Tell Saints (Draw and Tell)1 review
Julie A. Petras

Our Sunday Visitor, 2004

Great storytelling resource for parent or teacher
This book is fun, easy-to-use, and the children stay focused on the story. It only takes a couple of minutes to tell the story, and you can easily continue the lesson by allowing the children to draw what you have drawn, and/or by inviting them to help you draw other things that illustrate the story. Stories include: Archangels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael; St. Blase, Blessed ...

More Tell and Draw Stories2 reviews
Margaret J. Oldfield

Creative Storytime Pr, 1969

Very good and interesting
I think that these draw and tell are marvellous. In this book, i loved the story of the cat that loved too much crème fraîche (Pickles pussy cat)and of a racoon who loved thing bright ( Rocky raccoon). "Why the Robin has a red breast" and "rabbits have long ears"? And "how mouse became small and gray" or "how bear lost his tail"? These stories why why are delight my children. All children ask ...

Draw and Tell Sacraments (Draw and Tell)1 review
Julie A. Petras

Our Sunday Visitor, 2003

Great storytelling resource for parent or teacher
This book is fun, easy-to-use, and the children stay focused on the story. There are many ways to explain the Sacraments to children, but it is a lesson well taught when the children are involved and having a wonderful time. It only takes about two minutes to tell each story, but they are written so well that they do a beautiful job of relating the simple truths to the children.

Chalktalks: Draw, Cut & Tell Stories1 review
Janet H. Von Stein, Margaret M. Von Stein

J & M Pub, 2000

Interesting but not a good book
It's a little book. The first part is for the kindness of the stories. Then the authors present the story of the bird (too famous) and another stories. For two of them we need scissors or colouring pencil. The last story is "the black cat". Too famous too! I think the book is not the best.

Tell and Draw Stories (Tell and Draw Series)1 review
Margaret J. Olson

Creative Storytime Press, 1963

Bible Stories to Draw and Tell1 review

Our Sunday Visitor, 2002

Excellent book for parent or teacher
This book is fun, easy-to-use, and the children stay focused on the story. There are many ways to tell stories of the Bible to children, but it is a lesson well taught when the children are involved and having a wonderful time. Unlike flannelboard stories, you only need to grab a piece of paper and something to write with to prepare for this fun form of storytelling. It only takes a few ...

Annick Press, 1989

a very good book!
This book have drawings more simple than the next. There are 12 stories (3 can not drawing on the blackboard). "Alexander" is a lovely story of a lost friend and found, "Banana cream pie" could be translate by don't attach your dog with sausages. The others stories are: "At the end of the Rainbow", "Cousin Vladimir" ( a family gathering!), "Juanita the Whale" (a unusual doctor),"The Princess and ...

Children Draw And Tell: An Introduction To The Projective Uses Of Children's Human Figure Drawing1 review
Marvin Klepsch

Routledge, 1988

Extremely Infomative and Interesting
I found this book gives great insight to the way children think and react. So many books leave the reader wondering what was really meant at the end of the book, but this book gives great ideas into what children percieve about their famalies, etc. and how this relates into what they draw. I found this book very readable and informative. I really loved this book!!!

Lots More Tell and Draw Stories1 review
Margaret J. Oldfield

Creative Storytime Pr, 1973

A lot of cats/Un peu trop de chats!/
There are 18 draw and tell. There are 8 stories that ended with a drawing of cat lying or sitting.. There is a chapter about animals in danger: Pupfish, Alligator, Duck, Pelican. Many stories describe only an animal. Where is the surprise? I've found of: Fat cat's trip to the moon in June, with a baloon. The others animals are: Panda, Sailfish, Fox, Caterpillar, Butterfly, Squirrel, Hedgehog. ...
