Elric : Sailor on the Seas of Fate 1 review
First Graphic Novels, 1987
The voyage of the Eternal Champion upon the seas of mythos _Every page of this graphic novel could stand on it's own as a worthy work of art. The colours are especially magnificent. In the forward, Michael Moorcock expresses his surprise and delight that First Comics could adapt his work so faithfully to graphic form. Indeed, this volume is one of the best monuments to that now defunct Chicago publishing house.
_Sailor on the Seas of Fate is actually ...

Universe Publishing, 2003
Recommended if your into traditional stlye Excellent book, if the other book, Barns: Living in Converted and Reinvented Spaces is the ying, then this book is the yang. A good inspirational design book if you're interested in reusing an old barn for modern day use and staying within the original design. The text is interesting and informative with the accompanying photos following along with the text. The pictures are overall excellent, ...

Berkley, 1984
Super Reader The Bane of the Black Sword is also a collection.
The Stealer of Souls
Kings in Darkness
The Flamebringers (also called The Caravan of Forgotten Dreams)
To Rescue Tanelorn
The first three are adventures with Elric and Moonglum, and the latter is actually a story of Rackhir the Red Archer, one of the worthy individuals the Eternal Champion meets from time to time.

The Elric Saga: Part I (Elric of Melnibone, The Sailor on the Seas of Fate, The Weird of the White Wolf) 6 reviews Michael Moorcock
Doubleday Books, 1983
An Eternal Champion "There are 6 books in the original Elric saga; Elric of Melnibone is the first. All of them are classics not to be missed. Unlike most modern fantasy works, Moorcock's books have complex plots and are rich in language. Keep a thick dictionary at your side as you read these."

Elric Tales of the White Wolf 7 reviews Michael Moorcock
White Wolf+inc
An Elric novel written by Authors who grew up reading Elric I have read every Elric novel. I own 500 kilos of fantasy paperbacks. This book brought me as much joy, inspiration and satisfaction as any book I have ever read. Elric was the first "evil" hero. Every fantasy writer has taken a peice of elric to produce their characters. Drizt Do'urden is a shadow of Elric. Raistlen is almost an exact copy of Elric. Darth vader's sinister life, dependence on ...

Melnibone: Dragon Isle and Dreaming City (Elric RPG) 1 review Richard Watts, Geoff Gillan, ...
Chaosium, 1993
An essential supplement for the Elric! game This book is the Melnibonean supplement for Chaosium's Elric! roleplaying game, covering the history, geography, cities, magic, culture and peoples of the Dragon Isle. Especially useful is the in-depth descriptions and hints on playing Melnibonean characters (which is probably a staple fantasy of any Moorcock fan). The famous personalities of Melnibone are also discussed in more detail than ...

Elric of Melnibone 88 reviews Michael Moorcock
DAW, 1976
The most depressing epic saga ever written (and one you should read) This saga is a bad heroin trip from the first page to the end: and it is just as addictive. I had heard of the stories long before I ever read them, my friends going on and on with their references. You'd think this was written by Tolkien for all of the references and homage paid to it among those who have read it. Well it is all true. The doomed world our anti-hero lives in is dying (from the ...

The Dreamthief's Daughter: A Tale of the Albino 31 reviews Michael Moorcock
Aspect, 2001
Brilliant development I was amazed by this book. Somehow Mr Moorcock has managed to create another Elric book which comes close to having the power of what is indisputably the best of the series, Stormbringer. Unlike the previous reviewer, I found it fresh and exciting and a deepening and broadening of the Elric mythos. While the 'underground' sequences are slower than the rest of the book, I felt that this was ...

Elric Volume 1: Elric Of Melnibone (Elric) 1 review Michael Moorcock
AudioRealms, 2006
Spellbinding! Quality Product I was initially cautious about purchasing this item without benefit of peer review but I talked myself into it when the second volume came out. For the record, I purchased the MP3 version which is only 1 CD. I wonder if the 5 CD audiobook version has more in the way of liner notes because the MP3 version just has what's printed on the slip but I guess I won't know unless someone else writes a ...

Elric Volume 2: The Sailor On The Seas Of Fate 1 review Michael Moorcock
AudioRealms, 2007
Great Deal I purchased the MP3 version of this product. I'll leave the storytelling aspects to reviewers of the book because if you are interested in this audiobook you probably read the books years ago and already are a fan.
The audio MP3 version of the Sailor on the Seas of Fate is quality entertainment which I recommend.
The price is low enough to overcome some of the minor shortcomings. These ...

Elric: Dark Fantasy Roleplaying in the Young Kingdoms (Elric) 1 review Lynn Willis, Richard Watts, ...
Chaosium, 1993
For a taste of the truly unique Elric! is unsurpassed. This RPG has proved brilliant and entertaining for both novice role-player and experienced, for both those familiar with Moorecock's work and those who are not. I'll be the first to admit that the release of 3rd edition D&D has distracted me from this ingenious work of dark fantasy but before 3rd edition came out this system was the only one out of the many I have played in my 12 years of gaming ...

Michael Moorcock's Elric: The Making Of A Sorcerer (1 of 4) 1 review
DC Comics, 2004
The earliest Elric A Michael Moorcock tale is always welcome and a treatfully delightful bit of weirdness. When it comes in the form of a graphic novel by Walt Simonson (assisted by Steve Oliffe), it's just so much more the pleasureful treasure. This isn't an adaptation of a pre-existing Elric story, but provides significant backstory to the whole lore of the albino from Melibone, taking place just prior to the ...
