Baby Faces (Playskool Books) 12 reviews Playskool
Playskool, 1998
Love the faces I purchased this book when my child was six months old. He loved looking at the faces. I would act out the faces too as we went through the book. My son is now three and we occasionally look through the book. He still enjoys seeing the "happy" baby and the "messy" baby.

Baby Talk 8 reviews DK Publishing
DK Preschool, 2005
Great "first" book My daughter (and I!) absolutely love this book! So much, that it has had to be replaced a couple of times. She gets so excited to pull back the flaps and shout out what she is expecting to see. We started reading it at about 6 months - and now at 11 months, she knows it cover to cover!

Hohm Press, 2005
If Only I Knew Before What I Know Now! Facial Diagnosis Of Cell Salts Deficiencies: A User's Guide.
This is a wonderful book, (I guess this is what I think). What I mean is now when I look at anyone's face or I, myself in the mirror, I can see just how deficient all of us are. Hmmm, did I need to know this?
Well, actually the answer is yes, and so should everyone else know this information. The pictures are the most ...

Flesh and Bone: An Introduction to Forensic Anthropology 8 reviews Myriam Nafte
Carolina Academic Press, 2000
A Solid, Informative Book Flesh and Bone was required reading for my course in forensic anthropology. I found it very informative and interesting. I like how many of the legal terms were translated. The book has inspired me to pursue this field of study even further. I recommend it to students who are nervous about the sciences and cannot get through alot of technical terminology, and for those who are curious about crime ...

With Great Mercy 5 reviews Kathy Gilbert Taylor
Creation House, 2006
A must read! It is with great pleasure and clear conscience that I recommend this book (With Great Mercy)! I have spent several years of suffering from different types of ailments and could relate fully with the authors struggles and battles on her way to healing! The words leaped off the pages as I read them! They were telling my own story in so many ways! I am sure that anyone who has suffered or is now ...

Forensic Art and Illustration 101 reviews Karen T. Taylor
CRC, 2000
Fascinating and invaluable! Even if you have no sculpting talent whatsoever, this book is an engrossing read and a valuable reference for any crime or mystery writer. Karen Taylor has consulted for such hit TV shows as CSI and BONES and she definitely knows what she's talking about. The text is lucid and engaging and not at all intimidating, while the photos and diagrams alone are worth the price of admission!

Basic Books, 2005
A Happy History Say "cheese." If you say cheese, you are ready for the photographer to render a picture-perfect portrait complete with smile. That's the way it has been since around 1920, when photographers at British public schools developed the tradition. And yet that is not the way it has always been, according to _A Brief History of the Smile_ (Basic Books) by Angus Trumble, a lively history of a subject ...

Bloomsbury USA Children's Books, 2006
my daughter's favorite book! My 18 month old daughter absolutely LOVES this book! Different facial expressions accompany a story of the joys in sharing. Each page gives a wonderful illustration of the ongoing saga of a little boy grappling with an intrusive, scary bear and his beloved ball. Children can imitate the different emotions and see themselves in a mirror at the end. This is the only book my daughter immediately ...

Carving Classic Female Faces in Wood: A How-To Reference for Carvers and Sculptors 3 reviews Ian Norbury
Fox Chapel Publishing, 2004
Top of the line book This is the best book I've seen about carving the female bust. Norbury works from photographs and goes into great detail about using photos to make the pattern for the bust of choice.
His directions are excellent, especially for determining the removal of unwanted stock. This could almost be considered a textbook.

Reading Faces 2 reviews Leopold Bellak
Henry Holt & Co, 1981
It really is acurate I chat online and when I see a photo of a person I've only known a few minutes, this book helped me to truely read their personality. So many have accused me of being psychic, wondering how I knew so much about them. This book proves that people's faces are true reflection of their personality at that time of their life. It proves the old wive's tales are true: weak chins mean a weak personality, ...
