Wee Little Garden Gnome (Running Press miniature editions)16 reviews
Alison Trulock

Running Press Miniature Editions, 2005

Little Gnome
I got my Gnome at Barnes and Noble, although it's the same one as described. My gnome has a greenish face, but other than that, I love him. He is a wee bit smaller than I expected, the box literally fits in the palm of my hand, therefore the gnome himself is smaller (1.5" wide, 3" tall). I'm not sure where I will keep him. My car, desk at work... or maybe he'll just travel with me in my purse.

A Random Figurine6 reviews
Susannah D. McCallum

Xlibris Corporation, 2008

A very unique book.
I was very touched by this book. A unique story of a woman determined to find the truth and her mission in life. It opened my eyes on the feelings, joys, pains, and struggles of a person going through life with three mothers, debating between cultures, and establishing her true identity. I highly recommend it.

Delightful & Infomative Book For Antique Collectors/Dealers
I purchased this book as a gift for a wonderful collector of beautiful things including a single antique cake topper. How to make Clay Characters
How to make clay characters by Maureen Carlson is not available to buy in Australia. I had it on loan from my local library but only for limited periods and it was never long enough. Lisa Lichtenfels

Portfolio Press (NY), 2001

Don't miss this spectacular book
For those of us who could never afford a Lichtenfels piece, this is the next best thing. The realism and detail she is able to achieve in cloth is astonishing. The beautiful large-format all-color photography does justice to these amazing works. One of the most important artists in the field.

A wonderful book!
This book contains beautiful pictures of various Scottie Dog collectibles, some with manufacturers listed and all with values. I can not say enough wonderful things about this book. Anybody who is into dog collectibles must have this book. Anxiously awaiting the next edition! The only change I would suggest in future editions is to give more educational information about the manufacturers. ...

Carl F. Luckey

Krause Publications, 1998

The greatest book for serious Hummel Collectors!

Collectible Mice5 reviews
Albert Eschen

Hobby House Press, 2003

The authoritative guide to collectible mice
I just received this book, Collectible Mice, as a gift.  This is the best book about mice figures --some serious, some fanciful --that I have ever seen.  It is pleasant reading with a great bibliography and superb photos.  I wish the book were twice the size; it is one of the most enjoyable collector books I've read in years.  Eschen should write a sequel.

Carving Snowmen & Santas: Handcrafted Originals for the Holidays3 reviews
Mike Shipley

Fox Chapel Publishing, 2000

Great carving book. Good patterns for beginners also.
I really like this book. The layout is nice and the patterns are great. Some are easier to carve than others, as usual. However, some of the patterns are perfect for a beginner to tackle (I'm think mostly of the snowmen). Mike has a great carving style of his own and does a good job showing you step by step what he is trying to accomplish. If you like the subject matter then this is a great book ...
