Jeff Foxworthy's dictionaries never get old...
I actually purchased this for my husband. But I'll admit, I just had to see what was so funny. This dictionary is hilarious! No wonder he was laughing out loud in the doctor's office. You know, you are never too old for just some good ole, down to earth redneck ribbing. It has been a long time since I have laughed this hard. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to just let loose and laugh ...

Perfect stocking stuffer
For all spouses of golf enthusiasts, this would be the perfect little book to put into a Christmas stocking. It's about half cute cartoons and half snappy paragraphs on how to do badly at golf. For example: "If you have a problem with alcohol, now is not the time to try to control it. Slowed reflexes and distorted judgment can only work to your benefit if you want to stink at golf" p 35). ...

GOOD OL' REDNECK FRUN FROM FOXWORTHY
Well I guess I will prove the first reviewer wrong and add a second review. I first saw Jeff Foxworthy a number of years ago on a Rodney Dangerfield comedy special. I have to admit I thought his schtick was funny but that it wouldn't have much mileage but after almost twenty years Foxworthy seems to be going stronger than ever and his audience never seem to tire of his red neck jokes. Dynamite in a Small Package
It's true that this book appears to be a little "thin," at least from the standpoint of content. Still, it's classic Foxworthy, which means it's still mighty funny! And very, very creative. Everytime I pick up one of his "Redneck" books, I continue to be amazed at Foxworthy's comic genius, and, in my humble opinion, that's precisely what it is, genius. I keep waiting for him to run out of ...

A charming cookbook
Recipes are fairly simple, which greatly enhances the probability that the reader will actually use them. Also the recipes aren't so many, which is good since you just need a few good ones, not an confusing endless array of them. Food is put in a context in a humorous way, which is a nice bonus. The charm of the book made it one of my favorite cookbooks after the first five (thick) pages. I ...
